Need of Alkalizing our bodies in todays World, as we are surrounded and consuming a lot of food, water, air, which is acidifying our body and causes damages which need to be tackled fast.
3. Why should we be alkaline?
• We are born alkaline with pH 7.44 at birth. Most of us don’t know the importance of body
pH.
• pH is the degree of acidity and / or alkalinity. pH 7 is neutral.
• The body pH is in fact most important factor in controlling and affecting various body
functions. Unfortunately today’s fast paced lifestyle and increasing consumption of
acidifying food items are making problem very serious all over the globe.
It will not be wrong to say that single most important cause of death is
over-acidification of the body.
4. Major reasons of dietary acidosis
• We are consuming less and less of green vegetables and fruits which are major
supplier of potassium and other alkalizing minerals.
• Excessive intake of meat and other non vegetarian food is highly acidifying to the
body.
• Grains are all highly acidifying to the body. Wheat, polished rice, corn and most of
the other grains are acidifying. "Grains account for 65 percent of the plant foods

• After digestion, all foods report to the kidneys as being either acidic or alkaline. The
kidneys are responsible for fluid balance and maintaining a relatively neutral pH in
the body. This is done with the help of alkalizing minerals reserve.
• When acid-yielding foods lower the body's pH, the kidneys coordinate efforts to
buffer that acidity. Bones and teeth release calcium and magnesium to reestablish
alkalinity, and muscles are broken down to produce ammonia, which is strongly
alkaline. By the time the response is all over, your bone minerals and broken down
muscle get excreted in urine.
Long term, excess acidity leads to thinner bones and lower muscle mass.

unstructured water, hence dead. Fish can't live in it, and over
