1. WRAP – (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) Programme
This course enables you to take back control of your recovery and mental well-being through the
development of a tailored wellness plan personal to you.
The programme will work to empower you by building your confidence to self-manage difficult experiences
and life stresses.
It will increase your knowledge and awareness of personal warning signs and triggers. The course will
allow you to explore and develop support and tools for wellness resources.
The plan is designed and managed by you.
WRAP has been shown to help to reduce intrusive or troubling feelings and behaviours, increase personal
empowerment, improve quality of life and assist people to achieve their life goals and dreams in spite of
mental health obstacles.
The programme will incorporate the following elements:
Wellness Toolbox
Daily Maintenance Plan
Identifying Triggers and an Action Plan
Identifying When Things Are Breaking Down and an Action Plan
Crisis & Post Crisis Planning
Wellness Tools
Course details:
There will be an information session 10th
October @ 4.30pm (Parker Hill, Rathmines)
Tuesdays starting 15th
October (mid-morning to afternoon for 9 weeks)
Facilitated by Ali Rochford and Tom Manning (Gateway WRAP Facilitators).
Course fee for this course is €20.00
