The GOLDstein Family Challenge Statement

   “The Goldstein Family challenges all                      1,600
                                                              1,400
    young alumni to reach new heights of
                                              1,088*          1,200
    participation in Annual Giving by                         1,000
    participating in The GOLDstein Family                     800
    Challenge. The challenge is simple, if                    600
                                                              400
    2,013 young alumni make a contribution
                                                              200
    to the University of Miami in FY13, the
    Goldstein Family will make a $25,000
    contribution to need-based student
    scholarships.”

Why Young Alumni?:
                             The Challenge

 Young/GOLD alumni (graduates of the last decade)
  offer a great opportunity for increased engagement
  and philanthropy.

 Only 8% of young alumni gave in FY12 compared with
  an overall participation rate of 15% in FY12.

   $20,000 to support student internships at the
    School of Communication
   $20,000 contribution to support student travel
    educational fund at the School of Architecture
