 June 4 2020 – workers go on strike at MSIL Manesar plant
 June 10 2012-harnyana Bans strike a Maruti Manesar Plant
 June 13,2012-65 unions jointed strike at Manesar
 July 18,2012 violence at Maruti Plant. Near about 96 injured
 July 28,2012 Tools down strike protesting the suspension of 49 colleagues
 August 29-protest against the management’s insistence on Workers signing a ‘ good conduct
bond’
 October 1,2012 Labour unrest at plant ends ,sales decline of 20% in sept
 Oct 21 2012 fresh Maruti strike Workers want susu=pended Contract staff to be taken back

 No clear demand
 New union will bring a third party –political party
 Lack of discipline
 Accept and sign the ‘good Contract
Maruti Suzuki solutions
 Maruti showed insouciance toward workers
 The strike ended after over 1000 protesting workers agreed to sign the ‘good
Conduct Bond’
 Company agreed to take back 44 regular employees after they Serve a suspension
period
 Within a week the company started recruiting temporary manpower from IT IS
 The company said that the workers would not be paid for the last 30 days
Solution suggested
 Good code of conduct should have acceptable conditions
 Monthly meetings should have held between management and Workers
 Recruiting company should give preliminary idea before recruiting
