Specialty specific letters enhance quality and business
Cardiologists build their practices with quality care and
strong referral networks. For cardiologists to maintain
a strong referral network, it is critical that accurate
information be sent back to their patients’ primary care
provider. The electronically-generated letters that include
information from sixteen cardiology-specific forms, allow
Cardiologists to send information to a patient’s primary
care providers in just a few clicks. Cardiology practices
are also able to consistently remind patients of adherence
guidelines for prescribed care as well as for vital compliance
reminders for medications. The ability to generate specialty-
specific letters can help a cardiology practice improve its
referral base through effective communication with its
referral network as well as improve its efficiency by
enhancing its workflows.
An EMR that facilitates easier billing for Cardiology
practices to help increase revenue
Accurate Evaluation and Management (E&M) coding based
on encounter and order forms observations will have
corresponding E&M codes, compliant with 1997 guidelines,
helping physicians maximize revenue, reduce cost, and
increase efficiency.
Analysis forms covering nine cardiology-specific Meaningful
Use (MU) measures and thirteen PQRS measurements will
help cardiology practices meet critical quality standards to
capitalize on available reimbursements.

industry or association-recommended treatment options
throughout daily workflows, reducing the risk of error and
