Relevant Strengths
Personable
Being a school prefect/house captain allowed me to develop excellent verbal and
written communication skills to effectively lead a large group of people ranging
from young ages.
I thrive in environments where I am regularly meeting new people and enjoy
building a strong rapport with the athletes and colleagues I work alongside with.
Ambition
I have always been an ambitious, intrinsically mpotivated person and am
enthusiastic when approaching a new challenge.
In the future I hope to become one of the best athletic conditioners in the world
and aspire to play in the ANBL (Australian National Basketball League).
Perseverance
Captaining my school’s 1st V basketball team taught me how to deal with high
pressure situations. After suffering a complete tear of my ACL and partial tear of
my medial meniscus in my left knee in January 2013, I had to persevere with not
being able to train and play the game I love. This has led to me being stronger
mentally as a person and ignited a certain sense of optimism in regards to not
taking anything for granted throughout life. This event also catalysed/ignited my
passion for strength and conditioning as well as rehabilitation research.
