Pier Piping Replacement, Jacksonville FISC Facility (2007-2008)
Served as Project Manager on this project, which consisted of the compete replacement of the 16” ship
lines and the 10” barge lines on the fuel pier at the FISC Facility. Due to total shut down of unloading
operations during the 16” line outage, the work window was limited to 30 days. In order to meet the
schedule, all pipes with the exception of the tie in welds was fabricated and inspected in a lay-down
area off the pier. Work was completed on the 16” lines on schedule and prior to the arrival of the first
ship load of fuel. In addition and after the 16” lines were replaced, the barge lines were fabricated at the
same lay-down area and installed without delaying any barge shipments. Nearly 2,500 welds of various
sizes were installed and inspected with a zero defect rate.
Replace Floating Roofs, Nellis Air Force Base, Southwest Division, NAVFAC (2004)
This project consisted of the cleaning and inspection of four tanks required for the removal of the
existing pontoon style aluminum floating roof and the installation of four new Petrex honeycomb
aluminum roofs. Additional items included the fabrication and installation of new aluminum stilling wells
for the upgrade of the tank gauging system. Additional scope of work that was added after inspection
included the modification to the spiral stairway to allow for the addition of a new mid-level platform for
the installation of a new high-level control system. Due to operational requirements, only one tank was
allowed to be out-of-service at a time. The project was completed ahead of schedule without delays
which allowed for the Mission Critical Operation (i.e. Red Flag) to proceed as planned.
Repair/Replace Above Ground Storage Tanks, Ft Rucker, AL (2001)
This $1.7M project consisted of the complete revamp of the Hanchey Field Fuel Farm. The project
required the addition of one new 10,000 BBL cone roof tank, a complete new pump and filter upgrade in
the existing pump shelter, removal of all underground piping and replacement of that piping with all
new above ground carbon steel and stainless steel pipe. The project was competed on time without
delays in order to meet the Army Training Requirement for the German Helicopter Pilots Class.

Pier Piping Replacement, Jacksonville FISC Facility (2007-2008) Served as Project Manager on this project, which consisted of the compete replacement of the 16” ship lines and the 10” barge lines on the fuel pier at the FISC Facility. Due to total shut down of unloading operations during the 16” line outage, the work window was limited to 30 days. In order to meet the schedule, all pipes with the exception of the tie in welds was fabricated and inspected in a lay-down area off the pier. Work was completed on the 16” lines on schedule and prior to the arrival of the first ship load of fuel. In addition and after the 16” lines were replaced, the barge lines were fabricated at the same lay-down area and installed without delaying any barge shipments. Nearly 2,500 welds of various sizes were installed and inspected with a zero defect rate. Replace Floating Roofs, Nellis Air Force Base, Southwest Division, NAVFAC (2004) This project consisted of the cleaning and inspection of four tanks required for the removal of the existing pontoon style aluminum floating roof and the installation of four new Petrex honeycomb aluminum roofs. Additional scope of work that was added after inspection included the modification to the spiral stairway to allow for the addition of a new mid-level platform for the installation of a new high-level control system. Due to operational requirements, only one tank was allowed to be out-of-service at a time. The project was completed ahead of schedule without delays which allowed for the Mission Critical Operation (i.e. Red Flag) to proceed as planned.
