Local SERP chiefly contains a ‘local pack’(‘map
pack’ or ‘3pack’)
'Local Pack' is a set of 3 local business with a map of
their locations taken from the GoogleMaps.
Includes opening times, review ratings, photos,
attributes. These are pulled out from the business
GMB profile, a critical part of SEO
marketing.

Structured citations appears in a visually
stuctured manner.eg, businesslistings
Unstructured citations containsNAPW
information but not in a structured format. eg. press, blogs etc

Citation signals are one of the top local ranking factors.
Having an accurate NAP listed on social sites will allow potential
customers to find your business
Build Citations on local business directories, or relevant industry specific
citations if available.(e.g TripAdvisor)
Remember that having a consistent citation all over the web is the key to
its efficacy.
On-Page Optimization
Perform ‘Traditional’ on-page practices including keyword in H1, title
tag, URL, Metadescription. etc
Display NAP information and add relevant schema markup
Create location-specific landing pages to rank in multiple locations
Optimize local landing pages around individual locations.
