‘LIST’ KICK-OFF MEETING WAS HELD ON THE 26TH – 27TH NOVEMBER 2013 IN ATHENS, GREECE
‘LIST’ kick-off meeting was held on the 26th – 27th November 2013 in Athens-Greece, at the offices
of 3L Research Institute. The meeting lasted for two days and had all international partners
present.
‘LIST’-project is dedicated to developing curricula to promote integration of women 55+ into labor
market. At the meeting the partnership discussed working agenda for cooperation during the coming
two years.
The first day started with an opening from the project
coordinator, Life Long Learning Research Institute, followed by
a presentation about the latter. Then the partners from
Scotland, Norway, Sweden, and Poland also held speeches
about themselves. The rest of the day was dedicated to
presentation of the project: from its concept to the detailed
analysis of activities in the work packages.
The second day included discussion solely of topics of Communication Strategy and Plan,
Dissemination and Valorisation, and Quality Assurance & Indicators.

and expertise, which makes us anticipate the fruitful work and highly satisfying collaboration”, - says
Yevgeniya Averhed, the deputy director of Department for International Cooperation of
Folkuniversitetet.
Leveraging the Digital & ICT Competences of senior women to extenuate the knowledge divide (LIST)
is a Grundtvig Multilateral Project, launched on the 1st of November 2013. The aims of the project
can be expressed in terms of contribution to the policies of a) Sustaining active citizenship by
avoiding the risk of marginalization of groups affected by the knowledge divide in the digital society,
b) improving tools and methods of adults learning, specifically the field of ICT competences and c)

2. tackling the intergenerational gap between the “digital natives” and citizens less familiar with
technologies.
