In our las presentation we continued our series on offline marketing, with a look at using coupons to market your business. In today’s article we are going to continue that series with a look at how much billboard advertising costs

companies, the cost of a bulletin billboard (14 x 18 feet) for 4

9. Are digital or rotary billboards cheaper?
Not necessarily. Billboards are priced on how many
people see your advertisement and since they are
generally placed on high traffic areas the cost may be
higher, but they get your ads more eyeballs than a
billboard in a low traffic location.
11. Yes, but you are not paying
for the size.
Pricing for billboards depends on
the number of locally based
adults that look at the billboard.
This number is called in-market
impressions.
12. For a very informational and
useful set of definitions visit
the glossary on the Traffic
Audit Bureau website. Also
check the Market Locator on
their homepage.
14. Bulleting
They range in size from 10’ High
x 30’ Long to 14’ High x 48’ Long.
Poster / 30 Sheet Poster
A medium size billboard,
typically 10’5’’ High x 22’5’’ Long
15. Junior Poster / 8 Sheet
Typically around 5’ High x 11’.
Digital Billboards
The largest ones can be 20’ x
60’. Typically a new ad will be
displayed every 6 to 10 seconds.
16. What is the physical cost of each ad?
Depends on the material and the size. Printing an ad on vinyl for a
bulletin billboard will cost around $500. Also the cost per square
foot goes up around $0.80 if you are using vinyl. For paper the cost
will be much less, it will be from $50 to $100 per billboard.
It will be wise to budget $500 to $1,000 for graphic design.
