____________________________________________________________
A jaguar is an carnivore that means it will only eat meat it will only eat meat
and that also means that these animals are predators. The types of animals
that these cats will that there cats will eat is huge mammals, reptiles, birds
and they will also eat eggs to the other animals that they will eat is
capybaras, peccaries, tapirs, turtles and they will eat alligators to. After the
jaguar has killed its prey then if it does not frish it then it will bury it so that
they can save it for later. The best time for these cats to hunt is during the
night and means that these animals are nocturnal which means that these
animals are active at night. The other animals that jaguars will eat is deer,
peccary, crocodile, snakes, monkeys, deer, sloths, tapirs, turtles, eggs, fish
and any other animal, that they can find. A jaguar will attack any animal
that it can catch but the animals that they will mostly eat is very large prey
animals like peccaries, tapirs, deer and they can also eat cattle which is
causing a lot of problems for people that is because the jaguars are taking
their cattle. Jaguars will eat so many different types of animals and those
animals like turtles, tapirs and they will also eat deer to. The other food that
they will eat deer to. The other food that they will eat is this special
crocodile that is called the caiman. The other animals that they will eat is
deer, capybara, tapir, peccary, dogs, foxes, anacondas, turtle , frogs, mice,
birds, fish, sloths, monkeys, pacas, and they will also eat armadillos, The
diet of the jaguar can eat about 80 different types of animals. They get their
food from the water and from land as well that is because these cats have
very big diets. When these cats are in their natural habitat then the food
that they will eat is peccary, deer, monkeys, big rodents, tapirs, caiman and
they will also eat fish this is the food that they will eat when they are living
in the wild. The jaguars that live in captivity will usually be felt with feline
mix which is also known as ground meat fortified with lots of vitamins and
minerals. This is how the Jaguar will kills its prey. When they kill very big
animals they normally bite right into the skull with their canine teeth and
When they eat small animals then they will kill it with only one paw. These
cats will rather stalk their prey than chasing it or to do a surprise attack do
which is called a ambush. These cats do not even pounce on their prey but
this cat has perfect technique and they also have very good abilities as well
good. The jaguar is done killing its prey than it will drag it to a place so that
they can so that they can eat in peace. These cats are very strong that
these cats can even carry a very large animal through swimming in a lake
or river and they can still hold on to the very large animal that they catched
and they can also carry big animals up a tree as well. After they have
caught their prey then they will use their powerful canines to kill them by
the skull then they will eat it with their amazing powerful jaws. This cats are
nocturnal hunters which means they are most active at night but there has
been sightings of an jaguar hunting during the day to. Mostly they will hunt
during dawn and dusk. When these cats are living in captivity the food that
they will eat is Beef, mutton, chicken, or rabbits, beef knuckle bones and
commercially prepared feline diet, ground meat and vitamins. These cats
will actually eat anything that they can find that means that can eat up herd
animals and insects. The jaguar happens to be a very good hunter and
they can eat that they can catch. These cats will also kill cattle which is a
big problem that is between the humans and the jaguar. The other animals
that these cats hunt is tapirs, sloth, monkeys, fish, reptiles and they will
also eat domestic livestock. When these cats are going after a large animal
to kill it the jaguar will usually kill them by taking a very powerful bite
through the growl with their very strong canine teeth when they are
attacking a small animal than it will kill them by one swipe of their paw.
Habitat/Range
The jaguar live in so many different types of places and the places where
these cats live is in the rainforests, deserts, and they also live on
grasslands to and these parts of the world is where these cats live in
Mexico, Central and South America. They can also be found in other
places to and those other places are indeciduous and they can also be
found in tropical rainforests. These cats are know to be the most largest
species of cat that ever lived Jaguars live in different types of habitats and
the places that they live in are forests, swamps, dry woodlands and they
can also be found on grasslands that can be in central and in South
America. Jaguars rather live in dense forests that have thick cover and
there has to be water nearby. The place that has to be the most biggest
jaguar population is in the Amazon Basin. There cats can be found
southern of the United States and they can be found in Argentina. These
cats can also be found in forests and on Savannas. They can also be found
on scrub and in the desert areas as well. They can also be found
surrounded by fresh water. Jaguars live in the America like they can live on
North, central and South America. These cats can be found in different
types of habitats and the habitats that they live in the Americas is places
like rainforests, swampy areas, grasslands, woodlands, dry forests and
they can also be found in deserts to. These big cats can usually be found in
places that are in the Western Hemisphere. The types of places where
jaguars live is in different places that is in the America like they can also be
found in around Mexico and they can also sometimes be found in
southwestern of the United States but it is very rare to find them there. The
types of Rainforests that these cats live in is deciduous and they can also
be found in tropical rainforests. These cats do not just live in Rainforest.
They can also be found in the mountain areas and they also live on wet
savannas this is a place where they go to hunt for fish, but they will
normally be seen around fresh water areas. Jaguars can be found on all of
the Americas that means that they live on North, central and they can also
be found in Arizona which is located in the United States. The types of
habitats that these cats live in is rainforests, swamps, deserts, and they will
also be found on all the continents of the Americas. They can also be seen
in some states of the United States and those states are Texas, the cerro
colorado they can be found on the mountains of Arizona. They also live on
the Southern part of New Mexico. The ones that live in these states are
usually found in the rainforests in central and in south America. These cats
will mostly be found South America but they can also be found in Chile,
central America, Coloado and they will also be found in New Mexico to and
the types of habitats that they live in are places like rainforests, grasslands
and they can also be found on woodlands to. Jaguars will normally be
found in places like rainforests, Savannahs, and they will also be found
near swamps to they may also live in scrub countries and in deserts.
THese cats can be found in the Jungles, Scrub land, shorelands. Forests
and in need thickets that are in central and in South America the other
place that they live in is in Northern Mexico and they will also be found in
patagonia to. The best places to look for Jaguars the places that are near
water. They can also survive in grasslands and in deserts to. Jaguars live
on all of the continents of the americas. Jaguars live in different types of
places and the places where these cats live in is North, Central and in
South America and they will sometimes be seen in Arizona which is located
in the United states. These cats use to live all over Argentina and in South
America and in the Grand Canyon in Arizona, but today they are some
Jaguars that can be in the united states. These cats are endangered in the
patagonia that is in South America. Jaguars make their homes in lots of
different places and those places and those places are deciduous forests,
tropical rainforests, swamps, pampas grasslands and they can also be
found in the mountain scrub areas. These cats rather live in places like in
thick forests and they can also live near swamps can also live near
swamps but the best places to look for a jaguar is near water. They will
also known to hunt in places like in the arid and they can also be found in
lots of open areas.
Size/Weight
The jaguar can weight about 36-160kgs (79-350 lbs). These cats can weigh
about 56-96kg (124-211 lb) and the length of these cats are 1,2-1,96
meters (3.9-6.4 feet)this is also includes the tail to. The male are a lot
bigger than the females. The height of these cats is 25-30 inches that is up
to the shoulder. The females have a much smaller height than the males
are. The weight of these cats is especially when they are an adult they can
weight about 79-30 pounds (3.6-158kg). The females weigh much lesser
than that the length of the jaguar is 3.8 to 6 feet (1.1 to 1.8 meters). These
cats can weigh about 70 to 249 pounds (31 to 121 kilograms). Males are a
lot larger than the females. The jaguars that live in South America’s
pantanal region are much larger. The size of their tail is 45 - 75 cms (18-30
inches). The length of the jaguar is 25 - 30 inches that is up to the shoulder.
The shoulder height of these animals is 68- 7 cm. The weight of a male
jaguar is 57 - 113 kg and the females can weigh about 46 - 91 kg.The
weight of the jaguar is 56 - 96 kg (124 - 211 lb). The length of these cats
are 1,2 -1,95 meters. (3.9 - 6.4 feet) this is also the length of their tail to.
The size of male jaguars is 10 to 20% larger than the females. The Jaguar
is known to be the most second largests big cat the first biggest cat is the
tiger. The jaguar is the largest big cat that lives in the Americas. Adult male
jaguars can reach about 7 feet and they can weight about 150 to 200
pounds. The length of their tail is 450 - 750 mm.
Life Span
When the jaguars live in the wild they can live about 15 years. The jaguars
that live in captivity can live about 20 years. They live a lot longer when
they are in captivity than the ones that live in the wild. They can also live
about 12 years to. The jaguars that live in captivity can also live about 22
years as well. There are some jaguars that can live about 12 to 15 years.
The jaguars that live in the wild can also live about 11 years when they are
living on their natural habitat. The average life span of an jaguars is 17
years. Jaguars can live about 12 to 20 years this is one of their average life
spans of the jaguar.
1 interesting fact
Jaguars have very tan fur and they also have an orange color on their fur to
that have black spots on them which are called rosettes they are called that
because they look like roses but there are some jaguars that have really
dark spots that look like they do not have any spots at all but when they go
into really bright sunlight are a really good look at them you can easily see
their really dark spots. These cats have really yellowish fur that is full of big
dark rosettes patterns that can locate on their really dark fur. These spots
can be found all over the jaguar’s body. There are so many jaguars that
have a tan or orange fur coat that is covered with black spots that can be
found on all over their body that are called rosettes they are called because
they look like roses. There are some jaguars that happen to be so dark that
they look like they have to spots at all but you really need to get a really
close look at them to get a really good look at their spots. Jaguars look a lot
like a leopard and it is so hard to tell each of these cats apart but the
difference between leopards and jaguars is that jaguars are a lot bigger
than leopards are. Jaguars also have very thick muscular bodies, broad
heads, short, stocky legs and these cats also have really big paws. Jaguars
spots are shaped like circles that have a dot that can be found right in the
middle of their spots. The patterns that they have all over their coat is
called rosettes. The other reason why leopards are different then jaguars
because leopards have really small dots on them and they are not located
right in the middle of their spots. Jaguars are also known to be the third
biggests big cat that are followed after the tiger and the lion. There are
some jaguars that look a lot like a leopard but the difference between
leopards and jaguars is that jaguars are a lot stronger than leopards are
and they are also really bigger than leopards are to. There is a really good
way to tell these cats apart is that jaguars have really powerful build that
can be located by their rosettes. These rosettes that are on the jaguars
coat can be really big and there are only a few of them in numbers and they
will usually be much darker that has really thicker lines that can be really
small to. These cats also have stockier limbs that make be very close to the
smaller spots. THe jaguars head can be really round and it is really small
to. These cats also have stockier limbs that can make these cats look like
they are related to bulldogs then cats. Jaguars and leopards may look alike
but there are so many ways to tell the difference between the two cats. The
way that you can tell a jaguar is different from a leopard is that jaguars are
known to be stockers and they are a lot bigger than leopards. Jaguars also
have really small tails and they are really thick to. These cats have really
dark spots on them they can be located on their backs that are called
rosettes, but these rosettes are a lot different than leopards that because
they have an irregular broken border that can be spotted right in the middle
of their rosette. Leopards can only live Africa and in Asia. These cats have
a total different rosettes then the jaguar does that is because these cats
have darker rosettes that is on really yellowish kind of coat but if you get a
really good look at all of the rosettes that is on really yellowish kind of coat
but if you get a really good look at all of the rosettes you can really see that
there is not a spot inside and the rosettes that is on the edge that is really
unbroken. Jaguars are a lot bigger than leopards. These cats have really
dark spots that can be found in the rosettes. It can have about 4 to 5 spots
that are located in the central lighter colored spot. The jaguar's coat can be
really yellowish and they are located in the central lighter colored spot. The
jaguars coat can be really yellowish and they can also have the color red
and brown. These cats have a really different type of markings on their fur
than any other cat besides the leopard and that is called rosettes. These
marks can be found all over the cat’s body. On the head and on their neck
these rosettes will be really solid. They have rings on their tails. The color
of the jaguars underside is a color that can be really light. Not all jaguars
and leopards have yellow skin that is covered with black spots.
2 interesting fact
There are some of them that happen to be just black and only black, they
can also be Melanistic (That means that cats can be black and have a dark
color that form on their organism). The Black panther can live in really dark
places like rainforests areas that have to be dark like really black so that
they can keep themselves hidden in their surroundings/ A panther is not
activity an real animal that is just an term that is from an a special animal
grouping that is called Panthera it is also a name that is sometimes that
can be used to describe three different cats and those are the jaguar,
leopard and puma. Jaguars that are black also have spots on them to. It
might be really hard to see them because of their black coat. These really
dark colored cats have been seen with rather jaguars that are black also
have spots on them to.These really dark colored cats have seen with rather
jaguars that are complete mixed with the litters of cubs. There happens to a
condition that is known to be called melanism. There are jaguars that are
black all over their body. These cats do have spots on them is just that they
are so hard to see without a closer look at their coat. It is hard because
their coats are so very dark that you can barely see anything on their body.
They look like they do not have ant spots at all. These really black cats will
usually be found in the dense forests areas. These places are really good
for them that is because these places can help them to hide in these
forests that they live in and this will also give them a really light color. This
can help these animals to hunt down really big animals that are known to
live on the the open plains. There is a condition that is really known about
jaguars and that is called melanism that is how the jaguars have black all
over them but it is really hard to see them from afar but the best way to see
if they have spots is that if you get really close look at them. There are
some jaguars that do not look alike that they have any spots at all that is
because there are some jaguars that seem be just black and this happens
to be all over their bodies. The really best way to know if these cats have
spots is that you have to get a really to get a really close look at their spots.
On all over a jaguar’s body is covered with lots and lots of spots that can be
found all over them. These spots are shaped like circles but there are a lot
of them that have a dot that can be seen right in the middle of these circles.
There are some jaguars that seen right in the middle of these circles. There
are some jaguars that can come in tan and that have black spots on them.
There are some jaguars that seem to come in just black and only black
spots on them. There are some jaguars that can come in tan and that have
black spots on them. There are some jaguars that seem to come in just
black and only black but with this jaguar it may seem too hard to see the
spots because there spotted coat is really dark and you will need to get a
closer at them to see their spots. It’s also really hard to see the spots this
really rare jaguar that is called the albino (this means that this jaguar only
comes in white). Every jaguar all has spots on them but there are some of
them that is really hard to see them. Jaguars are known to be really strong
animals, these cts also have thick necks and they also have really small
strong legs. These cats also have heads that can be really wide and they
also have really big chests. These cats even have the most powerful jaws
in the cat family these jaws can bite through any animal’s skull they can
even bite through a crocodile. Jaguars are not the only big cat is the world
that has spots the other cat that has spots is the leopard. Lots of people are
getting really confused about how to tell the two different cats apart but
there are some easy ways to do that. Leopards are a lot different than a
jaguar that is because leopards do not have spots that can be found on the
middle of their spots like jaguars do. The other big difference between them
is that jaguars are lot bigger and even stronger than leopards. Jaguars can
be two times bigger than leopard is.
3 interesting fact
Jaguars are really amazing swimmers. That is why they love to live near
the water they will also catch their food when they are in the water. When
these cats are in the water then they will spent a lot of their time patrolling
themselves through the water they will do this is when they will look for
food. There are 4 big cats that are in this group are jaguars, lions, tigers
and leopards. These are the big cats in the world that know how to roar. All
the members of the big cat family will normally use their roars to scare off
another animal or they can also use it to to protect their territory from other
cats that might want to take over their territory jaguars are solitary animals
that means that they live alone and they do not live in a group or in a
family. These cats can also be testinal even through jaguars are expects at
tree climbers. These cats will mark their territory by spreading their urine
around their areas and they can also mark their territory by putting scrapes
on trees. This is like the same thing that other great big cats do to mark
their territory to. Jaguars can communicate with each other in lots of
different ways and the sounds that they make are roars, grunts and meows.
These cats have an layer that have mirrors that can be located on the back
of their eyes. These eyes can reflect any light then it will go back through
their eyes so that this can help them to produce a better image in low light.
This can help them when they are hunting at night or somewhere that is
really dark like a forests that happens to be very dark. A jaguar can see
objects six times better than any humans can. These cats have an amazing
binocular vision that lots of carnivores have that can result a extremely
accurate by using their 3-D vision this can help them to find prey in a really
distant locations. Just like all other big cats jaguar’s eye are adapted to
hunt at night. There is one way for cats to see will in the dark and that is
eyes shine this is being caused by a mirror like structure that is called the
tapetum lucidum. This structure can be located on the back of their eyes.
When light hits a cat's eyes then they will reflect ant light and then it will go
into the retina of their eyes. So that they can have the ability to see better in
the dark. This even happens with house cats and dogs to, you can easily
see their eye shine in the night. Jaguars can see less detail and they can
also see color in daylight. These cats have a really better eyesight when
the night has low light. Jaguars are known to be really secretive and these
cats do not kill humans. These beautiful and really powerful creatures are
very special to the ancient Native American cultures and they were also
were being used as royal symbols. There are many people that believe that
these cats can protect them from evil. The jaguar’s name came from the
Native American word that is called jaguar. This means “he who kills with
one leap.” Jaguars will usually spend their time by themselves. THe only
time that they do spent time with each other is when the mating season
comes. Jaguars live in a really big territory which is where they look for
food, water and places so that they can rest. The size for a jaguars territory
is their home range. The size of an leopards is the same size that the
jaguars territory has but it really depends on how many food is in the area.
Usually female jaguars when she raising her cubs then they will normally
live in a home range then that might be about 10 to 15 square miles (16-24
sq. km) but males have really big territories that can twice the size. When it
rains all year long then that will be the time when their territories that can
twice the size, When it rains all year long then that will be the time when
their territories will start to be really small. That will also be the time land
starts to get really flooded. Sometimes the female’s territories will usually
overlap with each other. Males are a lot different the female that is because
they are always trying to avoid any contact with other males and they
always try to take away from their territories. It is really rare for a leopard
and a jaguar to activity fight with their own species. These cats always try
to stay away from each other. These cats will usually look for a mate in
really far areas. To show what kind a mood that they will be in and they will
show off their mood by using body language. Like when they are in danger
their ears will be flatten that is will be right against their heads and the other
way that they feel threatened is when their tails lash back and forth. The
most common way to tell that they feel threatened is when their ears are
flattened against the ground or they are on their back really slowly. The
way that they can tell that each jaguar is friendly or curious then they will
normally lift their tails and their ears. They will also sometimes rub each
other’s. Necks and they will also lick each other to. There are some big cats
that happen to be really secretive (that means that they like to be alone and
always alone this can also mean that they also like to hide and they always
stay sway from their own species and other animals). These cats really like
to stay in places that are hidden and that are private. These cat’s always
like to be on their own. These cats can travel for hundreds of miles all by
themselves. These cats will always be on the lookout for food to eat an
they will always be on the lookout for food to. There are a lot of males that
have their very own territory (A territory is piece of land that an animal lives
in and it is also a place that they call their own).
Responding
The females will reach maturity in about 2 or 3 years, and the males will
reach about 3 or 4 years. The gestation period for the jaguar is will last
about 91 or 110 days. The females will have about 4 cubs sometimes they
will also have 2 cubs. jaguar’ s are different then other big cats because
usually the females will watch over the cubs expect for lions but this time
the males will stay and help to take care of the babies. The kittens will stay
with their mother for 1 1,5 years. The mating season for the jaguar is
usually all year round, The account of cubs that the mother will have is 1 or
4 cubs this is how many cubs that the mother will have in the litter. Jaguars
do not have an breeding season meaning they will give birth all year
around. The gestation period for the jaguar is 100 days. A female will give
birth to about 2 or 4 cubs this is how many cubs that they can have in a
litter. The females will continue to feed their cubs milk until they are about 1
year old and this also when they are done protecting them to. They will be
off on their own until they are about 2 years old. The cubs will reach
maturity when they are about 2 or 3 this is how old the female cubs will
reach maturity. The males will reach maturity in about 4 years. The females
will reach maturity when they are about 2 years old, and the males will
reach maturity when they are 3 or 4 years old.Mating will happen no matter
where they live even they live in the wild or in captivity they will both be
ready to have babies at anytime of the year. The gestation period for the
jaguar is 93 or 110 days. There is not a lot that we know about the jaguar
that is because it is very hard to find them. The only time that males and
females only come together when it is time to have babies. When they are
done mating than the male will go out into his territory and the female will
have a total litter of one or four cubs this is how many cubs that these cats
have in a litter. The moment that the cubs are born they will be totally blind
and they will weight about less than 1kg each. In six months the cubs will
join their mother on a hunting trip so that the cubs can see how their
mother hunts for food because they will have to do this when they get
older. The cubs will reach maturity in about 2 or 3 years and the males will
reach maturity in about 3 or 4 years. The gestation period for the jaguar is
about 91 to 110 days. The females will usually have about 2 or 4 cubs in a
litter. The other gestation period for these cats is 13 to 2.5 months. The
weight of an new born jaguar cub is 1,5 to 2 pounds (700 to 900 grams). A
female jaguar will have a total of one or four cubs in a litter but the average
account of cubs that an jaguar can have is two cubs. The females will build
their den by dense thorn thicket or they can also build them under tree
roots. A female will reach maturity in about 2 or 3 years the males will
reach maturity in 3 or 4 years. The gestation period will last about 91 to 110
days. The female will have a total litter of four cubs but the average litter
for a jaguar is usually two cubs. Jaguars will mate all year round these cats
are known to be solitary animals but they only come together when it is
time to have babies. This is how a female will let the male that she is ready
to mate the females will fertile in about 6 or 17 days which can happen in
every month. Then the female will start to leave marks and she will also
roar this is how a female will tell a male that she is ready to mate. After the
couple are done mating than the female will give birth in 3 months. The
average litter of cubs is 2 or 3 cubs that is how many cubs that can make a
litter. The moment that these cubs are born they will be completely blind
the moment that they are born.
Surivival Status
Jaguars face so many different types of threats that are caused by humans.
The threats that they face is loss of habitat meaning that they are losing
their homes because people are destroying it because so that they can
make room for farms, ranchers, mines, road, cities and towns, residential
subdivisions and they are also building border infrastructure.all of these
places are being build on the habitats that jaguars live. The reason why this
is a problem because survival because if people destory jaguars homes
than they will have no places to live or wander into places where people
live. The reason why they do that is because it is very hard to find food
where they live and there is not enough food for them to hunt. They will
also start to kill livestock from ranchers. Jaguars have no natural predators
but there is one predator that is to powerful than them and that predator is
no other than humans. The threats that these cats face is habitat
fragmentation and loss of human encroachment and the fur trade. These
threats happens to be the most threats that this cat face, but there some
good news though because there are some parts of the Americas where
these cats are protected . The places where these cats are protected is
Brazil, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico and they can also be found in Peru
these places are protecting them from hunting purpose. The jaguars that
live in Bolivia are being protected by trophy hunters and by being killed by
taking livestock from farms and ranchers. The other threats that these cats
face is human Intolerance. When people come to take over their habitats
this means that it is going to be very hard for them to look for food so what
they do is that they wander into places where people live and than they will
start to kill livestock which ranchers do not like so these people will kill
these cats for eating their livestock. The tolerance for these cats happens
to be very low which will lead to additional killing.Another problem for these
cats is loss of habitat they are living in places where it is very hard to find
food. The other reason why these cats are endangered is that people are
trapping and posioning them for killing their livestock. The other threats that
these cats face is logging, mining and farming. There are about 10.000 of
jaguars that are lefted in the wild, but their numbers seem to always
decrease everyday. These beautiful cats are also getting killed by poachers
because of their unique rosette - spotted coats. In the year of 1997 these
cats were listed on the fish and wild like service have added these cats to
the endangered species list. scientists think that there are about 10,000
jaguars that are still living in the wild today, but the numbers of these cats
are stinking very fast because due to habitat destruction and the
commercial fur trade that can be found in lots of different types of areas
around the Americas. These cats are almost close to extinction but in the
Amazon rainforests that is in South America happens to have a very large
resident populations in this area. The key to these cats surivival is the
ability to adapt to changes that is going with their environment conditions
this is called an umbrella species. The umbrella species is defined as a
species. The threats that these cats face is that people are hunting them.
Their populations are suffering because of loss of habitat and
fragmentation. The jaguars ecological role is mostly their close resemble
which is the tiger. That will generally cover very large areas that is in their
daily or seasonal movements.
Message from Author
We must do something to help and to save these amazing animals.
These cats need all the help that they can get. Jaguars have the right to
continue living on this planet. They are doing their part in nature and we
should find a place in nature to. This is a really big planet that is filled with
wonders and discoveries that are just waiting to be found. We have to
make this planet a safe place for us and for the other creatures that we
share it with. This is our beautiful home it deserves to have a second
chance to live on for the next generation to come on this planet. There is a
big, bright and beautiful future that is what will happen if we find a way to
protect our planet, then our world and our home will be a much happier and
a much cleaner place to live on. We have to make room for other living
creatures to.God made animals for a reason just like he made us. That is
what I know about the Jaguar and the other animals that lives on this planet
to. Together we can make a difference in our beautiful planet that we all
share. Thank you so much for doing your part. With you reading and
enjoying this book. You are helping your favorite animal survival in the
wild.Without your support, love and respect your favorite animal will have a
chance to make a comeback. This is a huge thank you for helping these
animals and everything else that has to do with nature. Nature is very
important because without nature then our planet will not be filled with
beauty and wonders that makes this world so great. Wonders that can
open a person’s eyes into a world that they never imagined. Nature thanks
you for your support and so does the Jaguar.

The threats that they face is loss of habitat meaning that they are losing their homes because people are destroying it because so that they can make room for farms, ranchers, mines, road, cities and towns, residential subdivisions and they are also building border infrastructure.all of these places are being build on the habitats that jaguars live. The reason why this is a problem because survival because if people destory jaguars homes than they will have no places to live or wander into places where people live. The reason why they do that is because it is very hard to find food where they live and there is not enough food for them to hunt. They will also start to kill livestock from ranchers. Jaguars have no natural predators but there is one predator that is to powerful than them and that predator is no other than humans. The threats that these cats face is habitat fragmentation and loss of human encroachment and the fur trade. When people come to take over their habitats this means that it is going to be very hard for them to look for food so what they do is that they wander into places where people live and than they will start to kill livestock which ranchers do not like so these people will kill these cats for eating their livestock. The tolerance for these cats happens to be very low which will lead to additional killing.Another problem for these cats is loss of habitat they are living in places where it is very hard to find food. The other reason why these cats are endangered is that people are trapping and posioning them for killing their livestock. The other threats that these cats face is logging, mining and farming.
