24,1910 with the name of
IMPERIAL TOBACCO
COMPANY of INDIA LIMITED
which headquarter in Kolkata, west
Bengal.
 Name changed to “INDIA
TOBACCO COMPANY Limited”
in the year 1970 and then to “I.T.C.
Limited” in the year 1974.
 ITC is one of India's foremost
private sector companies with a
market capitalization of over US $
30 billion and a turnover of US $ 6
billion.

than 38% of all the energy needs of

Rajasthan.
 Investments are also being made to
wind energy facilities to provide
supplementary power to ITC’s hotels
