5. SOCIAL IMPACT OVER THE YEARS
• Impacted lives of more than a million marginalized population of 4500 villages across 87 districts
of 17 states
• Mobilized community members during multiple on-ground project implementations through
formation of Village Development Committees and Project Management Committees at village
level across multiple states. Capacity building along with development interventions for the
beneficiaries to improve their socio-economic status
• Quality education to 1,40,322 school going children through in-school interventions, promoting
co-curricular activities, developing child friendly environment, improving classroom teaching
methodology, improving reading habits by providing access to libraries with up to date books
inventory etc.
• Access to better healthcare services including maternal and child health care to 173,267 patients
• Women empowerment through formation of 8940 Self Help Groups (SHGs) and total
beneficiaries impacted are 134,100. Trained them in various trades including dona pattal making,
sanitary napkins production, pickle making, mushroom farming, dairy farming among others and
providing financial literacy and market linkages for them to sell their products in the market earn
their livelihood
• Imparted employability skill development trainings to 58,831 youth with placements at
minimum INR 6000+. Training in diverse trades based on need of the area including welding,
industrial fitter, 2 wheeler mechanic, mobile repair, computers, hospitality among others
• Formation of 4540 Village Farmer’s club and provided them training on best farming practices
and modern technologies available for them to improve production and increase there revenue
