The Fair Trade Software Foundation (FTSF) is a non-governmental and nonprofit entity established to extend the Fair Trade Principles into the IT sector. We advocate for a new development model that creates shared value through knowledge transfer, capacity building, transparent supply chains and fair revenue distribution. We do this by: 1. Facilitating collaborative partnerships between IT companies in developed and developing countries. 2. Moderating these partnerships through monitoring compliance with our core standards and principles. 3. Promoting mentoring relationships between sponsors and partners.
