2. Agriculture is the backbone of Pakistan. It accounts for 18.9% of the GDP of Pakistan and employs about
42.3% of the labour force. According to the economic survey of Pakistan 2021-2022, the agriculture
department growth rate raised to 4.4%, which is an optimistic scenario for the economy of Pakistan.
In KISAN MELA, we aim to bring all the stakeholders of the agriculture department, including Farming,
livestock, poultry, horticulture sector, dairy products, import and export sector personas, under one
roof. At this event, we offer the opportunity to showcase new products, brainstorm ideas, and
participate in the growth, sustainability, and development of the Agriculture sector of Pakistan.
We took so much pride in playing our part in the progress and development of the agriculture sector in
Pakistan by organizing a KISAN MELA mega event.
The agriculture department plays a vital role in the Pakistan economy. It produces job opportunities and
plays a key role in foreign exchange earnings. Thus, We should take mandatory steps to thrive in the
agriculture sector. Therefore, KISAN MELA aims to empower the Agro-commercial sector, agro-based
industries, and export-oriented markets. It also encourages scientists to do vigorous research and
manufacture optimum products to help businesses and the farming community achieve the goal of a
sustainable economy in Pakistan.
KISAN MELA is a famous brand of Agriculture exhibitions and conferences. KISAN MELA was first held in
2013 at the Lahore-expo center and gained massive appreciation, acknowledgment, and
encouragement in Pakistan.
This mega exhibition allows everyone to display their products like the latest tools and technologies,
latest agro machines, seeds, pesticides, fertilizers, organics, bio organics, hydroponic, aquaculture, and
greenhouses in more than 200+ stalls.
This event changed the horizons of the Agriculture sector. It encouraged all the stakeholders,
agriculture industries, agriculture universities, and oil firms to demonstrate their products, arrange
Q&A sessions and bring a revolutionary change in the Agriculture sector.
After that, we continued to arrange the KISAN MELA at the hub of aggriculture_Qasim bagh stadium,
Multan, till 2022.
KISAN MELA mega event is a golden opportunity for farmers, stakeholders, agriculture experts, and
policymakers to address the agricultural challenges of farmers and discuss related topics like alternative
crops, alternative water, and energy resources. The KISAN MELA mega event is need of the hour, and
we’ll bring such programs in the future too.

Mr. Bilal Chodry is the Chief executive of FTR media service and a
key person for events. He has done Masters in commerce. He has
15 years of extensive experience in business development,
discovering and developing new markets, planning and
implementing new strategies, promoting businesses, and
improving brand visibility. His experience and diversity make him
an exceptionally valuable asset to the company.
