28. The American Culinary Federation provides grants
to chefs volunteering for Chefs Move to
Schools. Funds can be used to reimburse volunteers
for out-of-pocket expenses on supplies such as
food, educational materials, school gardens, and
activities and projects that promote healthy eating
and nutrition.
Grant award is $250. To be eligible for the grant
chefs must be registered on the Chefs Move to
Schools website, be matched with a school and have
volunteered at least twice within a year. Download
a grant application today and apply!
