Programs of State Board
1. Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Ninaivu marriage Scheme :
Objective: To help poor parents financially in getting their daughters married and to
promote the educational status of poor girls.
Eligibility: Women over the age of 18.
Beneficiaries: Whom are completed the education of 10th are received An Assistance of Rs
25,000 and 8grams of gold for making Thirumangalayam and whom are completed
degree could receive Rs50,000 and 8grams of gold for making Thirumangalayam.
2. Dr. Dharmambal Ammaiyar Ninaivu Widow Remarriage Assistance Scheme:
Objective: To Encourage widow remarriage and rehabilitate widow.
Eligibility: 20-40years for the Bride & groom.
Beneficiaries: Scheme 1- No Education qualification Needed (25,000 Cash + 8gram Gold
for making Thirumangalayam.
Scheme 2- Degree Holders could get 50,000 cash + 8gram Gold for making
Thirumangalayam.
3. EVR Maniammaiyar Ninaivu Marriage Assistance Schemes for Daughters of
poor Windows:
Objective: To help the poor widow mothers who face financial hardships in
conducting their daughter marriage by providing financial assistance.
Eligibility: Annual Income not exceeding the limit of Rs 72,000.
Age Limit: 18 , No Upper age limit.
4. Annai Teresa Ninaivu marriage assistance Scheme for orphan Girls:
Objective: To help the orphan girls financially for their marriage.
Eligibility: Annual income of the family not exceeded 72,000. Bride Should have
completed the age of 18 at the time of marriage, there is no upper age limit.
Beneficiaries: Scheme 1- Education Qualification not required (which Includes
25,000rs & 8grams of gold for making Thirumangalayam).
Scheme 2- Graduate could get 50,000rs & & 8grams of gold for making
Thirumangalayam.
5. Dr. Muthulakshmi Reddy Ninaivu Inter-caste Marriage Assistance Scheme:
Objective: To abolish caste and community discrimination by encouraging inter-caste
marriages.
Eligibility: No Income Limit. Bride should have completed 18 years of age at the time of
marriage, there is no upper age limit.
6. Sathiyavanimuthu Ammaiyar Ninaivu Free Supply of Sewing Machine Scheme:
Objective: A view to increase the Self- Employment potential for rehabilitation of destitute
women/widows, deserted women, differently abled men and women, and women from
economically weaker sections.
7. Government Service Homes:
Objective: To provide institutional care for whom are economically and socially backward
by giving them protection, education and vocational training.
Eligibility: Income Limit- Not exceeding 72,000rs,
Age Limit- 14 to 45 Years.
8. Government Working women’s Hostel
Objective: To provide safe accommodation facilities to the working women who
live far away from their families, belonging to lower and middle income
groups.
Eligibility: Working women with salary not ore than 25,000 per month in Chennai
9. Protection of women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005
Objectivity: To prevent violence in families and to provide a peaceful and secure
physical and mental space wherein a woman would be in a position to take
free and informed decisions.
Eligibility: The women victims of domestic violence.

 Chief Minister’s Girl Child Protection scheme:
Objective: To promote child education, To eradicate female infanticide, To
increase the child sex ratio, To discourage the preferences of male child, To
promote small family norm.
Eligibility: Annual income not exceeding 72,000rs for scheme-1 and for Scheme-2
 Early Intervention centre for infants and young children with hearing
Impairment:
Eligibility: Young Children with hearing impairment are given training to develop
speech and language skills so as to get integrated into normal school by the
time they attain the age of 5years.
 Early intervention centre for the children with intellectual disability:
Objectivity: To identify children with intellectual disability and children with
allied disabilities at birth and to provide early intervention services.
Eligibility: Age Group of below 6 years
 Early Intervention centre for the visually impaired:
Objective: Visually Impaired children are identified, assessed are prepared to
join in main stream education.
Eligibility: Children below 6 years of age.
 Early Intervention centre for children with cerebral palsy in state
resource training resource centre, Chennai & Tiruhirapalli:
Objective: Stimulation training is given to the children affected with cerebral
palsy.
Eligibility: Age group of below 6 years.
 New Born Screening Programme for Hearing Loss in Babies in
Chennai & Sivagangai Districts:
Eligibility: New Born Babies
 Integrated Urban Development Mission: (2011)
Objective: Recovering UGSS, Water Supply Improvement, Road Improvement &
Storm Water Drain Works under the above programme.
 Tamil Nadu Urban Road infrastructure Development Programme:
 Infrastructure gap Filling Fund/ Capital Grand Fund:
Objective: Construction of Office Building, Water Supply works, Solid Waste
Management, Storm Water Drain, Slaughter House, Crematorium,
Community Hall, Shandy, Bus Stand, Burial Ground Improvement & ULB
Contribution to the Water Supply.
 Atal Mission for Rejuvenation & Urban Transportation (AMRUT)
 Pradhan Maantri Awas Yojana (PMAY)
 Smart cities Mission (SCM)
 Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM)
 Heritage City Development & Augmentation Yojana (HRIDAY)
 National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD):
Objective: Supporting capital formation in agriculture and allied activities,
thereby promoting growth of agriculture, fishery, forestry, etc.
 Chief Minister Green House Scheme (CMGHS):
Objective: To fulfill the housing needs of houseless poor people living in
rural area.
 Tamil Nadu Rural Roads Improvement Scheme(TNRRIS):
Objective: The vast network of rural roads in Tamil Nadu requires optimized
funding so that there is a balance between maintenance of existing roads
and construction of new roads.

 Free Education Scheme:
Objective: Free primary education is fundamental in guaranteeing everyone
has access to education and developing the potentialities of individuals,
socializing and unifying people in an organized unit, helping individuals
in acquiring personality traits.

 Scheme for Meritorious students to pursue Higher Secondary
Education in the best schools of Tamil Nadu:
Objective: To motivate and acknowledge the efforts of student.

 History: The service of employment and training department were extended
to general public bt early 1948 which was earlier restricted to demobilized
service personnel and discharged war workers after second world war, through
creation of employment exchange.

  • 2. 1. Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Ninaivu marriage Scheme : Objective: To help poor parents financially in getting their daughters married and to promote the educational status of poor girls. Eligibility: Women over the age of 18. Beneficiaries: Whom are completed the education of 10th are received An Assistance of Rs 25,000 and 8grams of gold for making Thirumangalayam and whom are completed degree could receive Rs50,000 and 8grams of gold for making Thirumangalayam. 2. Dr. Dharmambal Ammaiyar Ninaivu Widow Remarriage Assistance Scheme: Objective: To Encourage widow remarriage and rehabilitate widow. Eligibility: 20-40years for the Bride & groom. Beneficiaries: Scheme 1- No Education qualification Needed (25,000 Cash + 8gram Gold for making Thirumangalayam. Scheme 2- Degree Holders could get 50,000 cash + 8gram Gold for making Thirumangalayam.

EVR Maniammaiyar Ninaivu Marriage Assistance Schemes for Daughters of poor Windows: Objective: To help the poor widow mothers who face financial hardships in conducting their daughter marriage by providing financial assistance. Eligibility: Annual Income not exceeding the limit of Rs 72,000. Age Limit: 18 , No Upper age limit. 4. Annai Teresa Ninaivu marriage assistance Scheme for orphan Girls: Objective: To help the orphan girls financially for their marriage. Eligibility: Annual income of the family not exceeded 72,000. Bride Should have completed the age of 18 at the time of marriage, there is no upper age limit. Beneficiaries: Scheme 1- Education Qualification not required (which Includes 25,000rs & 8grams of gold for making Thirumangalayam). Scheme 2- Graduate could get 50,000rs & & 8grams of gold for making Thirumangalayam.
  • 4. 5. Dr. Muthulakshmi Reddy Ninaivu Inter-caste Marriage Assistance Scheme: Objective: To abolish caste and community discrimination by encouraging inter-caste marriages. Eligibility: No Income Limit. Bride should have completed 18 years of age at the time of marriage, there is no upper age limit. 6. Sathiyavanimuthu Ammaiyar Ninaivu Free Supply of Sewing Machine Scheme: Objective: A view to increase the Self- Employment potential for rehabilitation of destitute women/widows, deserted women, differently abled men and women, and women from economically weaker sections. 7. Government Service Homes: Objective: To provide institutional care for whom are economically and socially backward by giving them protection, education and vocational training. Eligibility: Income Limit- Not exceeding 72,000rs, Age Limit- 14 to 45 Years.

Government Working women’s Hostel Objective: To provide safe accommodation facilities to the working women who live far away from their families, belonging to lower and middle income groups. Eligibility: Working women with salary not ore than 25,000 per month in Chennai 9. Protection of women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 Objectivity: To prevent violence in families and to provide a peaceful and secure physical and mental space wherein a woman would be in a position to take free and informed decisions.
