2. The Romanesque
Minor Basilica of st.
Virgin Mary
• This is the oldest historic monument in
Inowrocław. The first Masses were already
celebrated in October 1233. The
construction of the Romanesque church
started at the end of the 12th c.
3. Salt Graduation Tower
• Inowrocław’s graduation tower is the
second largest at Poland and the only on of
such a complicaded construction. It is
formed of two multiside, 322 metres in
periphery and 9 metres high.
4. The Solankowy Park
• The park is an indisputable showcase to the
town. It covers an area of 85 ha and
includes all spa facilities, a graduation
tower, a concert bowl, a mineral water
pump room, a palme house and recreation
areas.
5. Queen Jadwiga Street
• This is the town’s commercial center. Here
you can find a lot of examples of interesting
stone buildings from the 19th and the 20th
centuries.
6. The Town Hall Building
• The building where the town hall has its
seat was erected in the 1907 – 1908; neo-
gothic, storie, with a high tower, represents
the architecture of the Teutonic Order
castle.
