•   Besides wondering about the sort of
    work medical assistants get to do, prospective
    students of Everest College are also curious about
    what kind of financial independence they can gain
    after completing their education.
Earning Potential
   To help estimate what your earning potential might be as a
   medical assistant, there are four main question you should
   consider:

1. Where will you be practicing in regards to population and location?

2. Who would you like to work for - a private practice, specialty
   practice, or clinic?

3. Is the profession of the physician you are working with primary care
   or a specialty?

4. Have you, or are you pursuing, a medical assistant certification?
#1: Regional Factors
•   The regional factors from question #1 can be broken
    down into two main areas, each with their own pros and
    cons that can affect your career and earning potential.

•   The area where you work may be decided by a number
    things ranging from spousal obligations, to personal
    preference.
