Eurotech's people and passenger counting systems are compact and autonomous devices designed to be installed above doorways of buses, trains, buildings and any other area where access monitoring is required.
Incorporating IoT and cloud infrastructures allows integration with people management applications such as fleet and public transport optimization, allowing train or bus lines and schedules to be adjusted according to the passenger flow.

If a gate is wider than the maximum detectable width of the gate, you may connect two or more devices together with a
Wide Gate configuration
16. • People entering the detection area are recognized and
tracked
• During the tracking process:
• The two counters are incremented if a person
enters the detection area, crosses the door
threshold line and then exits from the detection
area on the opposite side (the threshold line may
be adjusted)
• Erroneous calculations are avoided in case a person just moves
in proximity of the door (i.e. when there are crowds)

17. To ensure precise counting in crowded situations on transportation applications:
When the doors are closed, people that remain in the detection area are counted as IN.
When the doors open, people leaving the detection area towards the doors are
counted as OUT. If people stand under the sensor within the detection area, they are
not counted as OUT
