2. • The purpose of the magazine will be to inform and educate those who
want to know more about the genre of Hip Hop.
• The magazine will contain information on an artist. This includes
backstory, songs/albums and venues they have and will perform at.
• It will also include an interview and Q & A with the artist. The Q & A
questions can be sent in by the readers.
3. • My magazine will have both an online and print version to
ensure that the reader has the option if they want a hardcopy of
the magazine or an online version.
• The magazine will be 80-100 pages long and will be A4 for the
front cover and A3 for the double page spread.
• The paper will be recyclable so that when the magazine is being
manufactured it’s environmentally friendly.
4. • The genre of my magazine is Hip Hop. This genre rap comes
with a wider target audience which means more issues with

• The genre of Hip Hop has a variety of sub-genres which can be
included and this will interest the reader and inform them on
their genre and can also read about other genres.
• Hip Hop can also really reside with people and people can get
behind the genre and the artists who perform in the genre.
5. • My magazine’s content will be artist based. There will be
different artists on each page and they will each have
information on them.
• An interview and a Q & A with the artist of which some of the
questions will be sent in by the readers.
• The artists will mainly be based in North London so as to
appeal to the vibrant scene developing in North London.
6. • My target audience will be white males age 16-21 who live in
North London and enjoy Hip Hop. My secondary target
audience will be white females age 16-21.

• The target audience will be able to contribute to the magazine
by sending in questions for the Q & A.
7. • To make sure that the money that is invested goes back to the
investors.
• I will work with artists and venues to have partnerships to
ensure that I can get deals such as discounts on tickets and
merchandise etc.
• If I have a popular influencer or artist then this can also allow
for a partnership with them to get tickets to their shows for free
or giveaways for merchandise.
8. • For my magazine I will be using social media to advertise my
magazine. I will do this by going onto official venue websites
and getting an ad and also going on to things such as
Instagram, snapchat, twitter etc.
• The target audience will see the ads and this will prompt them
to buy the magazine.
• When the magazine gets popular then I can start to build
relationships with venues and artists so I can get partnerships
and can generate revenue.
9. • For my magazine I will be putting posters up and handing out
flyers to the people that come out of a concert or show.
• The target audience will be at the venues so the people will
see the magazine and want to buy it.

11. • For my magazine I will have two subscriptions to the
magazine.
• The monthly subscription will include the online and print
based magazine, this will be £3.50

online and print based magazine and this will cost £42. If you
purchase this offer you will get 10% off of your first magazine.
12. • For my USP I will have a deal where if you invite 5 friends to
join up to the magazine then you can receive 50% off of a
future issue. This will people to encourage as many people as
they know to sign up and in return get money off their
magazine.
• When partnerships are built the companies may give the
magazine free tickets which could allow for people to enter a
giveaway for multiple free tickets and other prizes.
