Changes happen in your community, each member
has to play a role in serving the community and its
institutions.

Is a value that moves every individual to do something good
and beneficial to the whole society without expecting
something in return
Society
Can never and will never be able to provide all the needs of
its citizens.
Needs people to deliver the services and goods.
Spirit of Cooperation
They shared food, products, gifts, and other materials among
themselves to help society and these are expressions of true
service.
5. Today, concerned citizens know how to protect and uphold
the laws and regulations in the society of which he/she is
part of.
If he/she does what is expected of him/her as a member of
society, the person is directly serving his/her community.
6. Following are ways by which the youth can serve the
community:
Dispose of one’s garbage and litter in the proper trash
bins
If everyone does the same, then society would be
gradually spared from the dangers of flood or diseases
caused by improper waste disposal
Take good care of the facilities provided by the
government or by the community where your family
belongs
The facilities may be the playground where everyone can
converge and get together
7. Following are ways by which the youth can serve the
community:
Join a group that helps people in times of calamity.
The Philippines is a calamity-prone area where typhoons
plague the nation ever year. When this happens, you are
needed to reach out and serve.
Volunteer during nationwide elections.
You can act as a watcher to prevent people from
cheating. You can also encourage your family and friends
to do the same.
8. Following are ways by which the youth can serve the
community:
Be part of a club that focuses on environmental
protection.
This club may focus on planting trees to regain in the
beauty of mother nature.
You can still think of many ways to help your community.
Simply examine the needs of your society and be keen
enough to where you can maximize your talent and skills
and contribute something beautiful for the community in
the name of service.
9. Service to society cannot be possible without the
commitment of the families to inculcate the values of
service among its members.
It is a value that enables you to reach out to others in
need
It is your ability to leave your comfort zone, to do
something good for someone in need or to bring in
something positive to a community that needs it.
When you serve others because you genuinely want to,
something good happens: a relationship may be
formed; a family relationship is nurtured; or a
strong society is established.
10. The best time to start training children is when they are
still infants
Children who are trained in the good habits of
honesty, truthfulness, love, gentleness, obedience,
reverence, and self-control develop good character.
Responsible children grow up to be responsible adults
It has often been said that education begins in the home.
Truly, parents can give a tremendous change in the
education of their children.
This responsibility can be fulfilled completely only by
seeking God and asking Him for wisdom and guidance.
