Top Ten Companies This Month
This page lists the top ten companies covered this month, by the estimated dollar value of the projects with which they are involved. Note that this does not represent the full value of each project to an individual company – several
different companies can naturally work on a single project – and the figures below should not therefore be read as company-specific revenues.
The leading company this month is the Finnish Valmet, with three new projects. These comprise two biomass plants in Finland, and a WtE plant in China. AcuComm now lists 32 active projects in total for Valmet. This was followed by
the Chinese company, DP CleanTech, which also announced three new projects, all in China. AcuComm now lists 21 active projects in total for DP CleanTech.

Waste Investment Summary
The AcuComm waste database contains detailed information regarding over 5,000 active
waste and waste-related project investments around the world. These detail the activity of
over 6,500 companies, in a wide variety of roles. These companies involve around 15,000
named contacts. Our team of researchers add new and updated information on a daily
basis.
Each marker on the maps to the right indicates the location of a company, by headquarters,
in our database. This month, we showcase Germany in the lower map.
Contractors/engineers, equipment suppliers and operators are all marked separately.

The first graph on this page shows the percentage of
annualised tonnage capacity each company represents,
as listed by the project information in the AcuComm
database. This does not represent the total ‘installed
base’ for each company, as projects prior to 2013 are not
included. Rather, it represents a ranking of recent and
future activity in the industry.
The second shows the same company rankings, but this
time colour-coded to show the current development
stage of projects associated with each company;
planning, under construction and operational.
