3. Between 1901 and 2010, the ocean expanded due to warming and thawing.
Due to climate change, the mean sea level increased by 19 cm and the
intensity and frequency of the rains changed. This led to severe floods
and extreme droughts, and some winters. the temperature is higher than
in winter In recent decades and hot summers, these changes have brought
serious consequences, sometimes even irreversible, affecting cultivated
land and extinguishing land, marine animals and plants.

Take urgent action to
combat climate change
and its effects.

6. THE GOALS OF SDG 13
The objective is to prepare
ourselves to face the impacts of
climate change, lay the
foundations for an emissions-
neutral economy and accompany
the most vulnerable groups in the
transition process.
❏ Reduce and reuse water consumption.
❏ No more plastic.
❏ throw the trash where it belongs.
❏ Inform and educate people on how to
contribute, help and be responsible for
climate change.

7. AT THE GLOBAL LEVEL THE SDG 13
Reduce pollution and the greenhouse effect across the planet, create
more jobs in renewable energy companies, make food and water
available to every country in Africa, recycle more and use less plastic.

8. THE MOST POLLUTED COUNTRY IN THE WORLD
● China's main source of energy is coal,
and they need it to run industry and
heating. In addition, pollution in China
also comes from transportation, wood
burning and other industrial activities.

9. HOW MANY ANIMALS
ARE IN DANGER OF
EXTINCTION DUE TO
CLIMATE CHANGE?
Although it is not known with
certainty what will happen, one thing
is clear: there are about a million
species in danger of extinction due
to climate change.

1- Strengthen resilience and adaptive
capacity to climate-related risks and natural
disasters in all countries.
2- Incorporate climate change measures into
national policies, strategies and plans.
3- Improve education, awareness and human
and institutional capacity in relation to
climate change mitigation.

11. DURANGO
Durango is a city that over the years has
evolved in how to improve and sensitize
people about climate change.This year they
added 100 organic bin and installed a mini
Clean Points to recycle small household
waste.

Maristak durango center provides
fundamental support for students
and teachers to avoid
contamination in the school, placing
recycling containers in each
corridor.

15. OPINION
To avoid a natural disaster it is important to
comply with sdg 13: recycle, do not use
plastic and everything that may pollute the
world.
