1. “A Fun Night to Bowl” “New Lighting”
Friday night, July 20th, and the
lanes are busy as ever at Lafayette
Bowling Lanes.
Reed-Lallier Chevrolet employ-
ees and their significant others
came out to enjoy a night of bowl-
ing, laughs, food, and fun. 38
people total were in attendance.
“The fun committee thanks
everyone who was able to partici-
pate in the event.” said Tiara Ray,
“We are working towards putting
together other activities.”
The event was a team building
exercise. “We just want a way to
say ‘thank you’ to everyone who
works here and let them know
they are important,” said Ray.
If you care to share your ideas
for the next team building exercise
please contact either Tiara Ray,
Debbie Orndorff, Wanda Leslie, or
Isaac Hill.
There have
been some
big things
going on, or
should I say
going up, in the photolab at Reed-
Lallier Chevrolet.
“This new lighting system will
really spruce up the look of our
inventory on the website,” said
Beth Clark. “We have started
to amp up our digital marketing
and advertising and this will be
the icing on
the cake for
our online
customers.”

GM is about to introduce the fifth-
generation small-block V-8 engine.
With this new design comes the
promise of more power and less fuel
consumption.
The new engine will retain the
original small-block’s 4.4-inch bore
centers, but will gain direct-injection.
“The Gen-V small block is an all-
new, state-of-the-art engine family that
will offer more efficiency and refine-
ment than any other small block in its
more than half-contury of production,”
said Jordan Lee, Chief Engineer of
GM.

Come and enjoy a Cruise-In at
Hooters on McPherson Church
Road on August 11 from 6pm -
9pm.
The Cruise-In is sponsored by
Cape Fear Team Corvette and
Hooters. It will feature Cor-
vettes, Camaros, and Classic
GM Hot Rods of all eras.
“It will be so much fun for
everyone,” says Barbara La-
selle, Assistant Parts Manager
at Reed-Lallier Chevrolet and
member of Cape Fear Team
Corvette, “and there will be a
50/50 drawing and door prizes.”
We know it’s sometimes a
long haul from your parking
spot to the office, but we have
designated parking for a reason.
Employees are to park along
the fence line in the back and
behind the fence if there is
no more spaces left along the
fence.
NO employees are permit-
ted to park next to the photolab.
Those spots are specifically for
overflow parking for inventory
and for the use of storing cars
that need to be photographed.
Signs will be going up soon
as reminders. If you have any
questions please contact Ervin
Parrish, Inventory Manager at
eparrish@reedlallier.com.
