Emilio Billi has proven knowledge of the high performance computing and datacenter markets. He is one of the architects of the latest specification of HyperTransport interconnect technology a, high performance, open standard, data communication technology that has been successfully implemented in many thousands of computer platforms, ranging from consumer electronics (e.g. Microsoft’s X-BOX), to networking and server platforms created by companies like CISCO, Cray, Dell, HP, IBM and Sun Oracle. Other than that, as HTC chairperson, he was involved in active technology dialogues and projects with companies including Acer, AMD, Cray, Google, NICEVT, SKIF and others. He holds several patent.
