I am a highly motivated and focused individual.
I have experience in secretarial, administration, office and
account management roles. I can turn my hand to most tasks
to help ensure the smooth running of your office. The majority
of my experience has been within the advertising and travel
industry which is extremely fast-paced and challenging and this
has helped hone my skills for working under pressure, attention
to detail and meeting tight deadlines.
I have also worked as an Office Manager in Architect’s Practice
and was accountable for their VAT returns and PAYE
 Excellent written and verbal and communication skills
 Strong analytical skills; able to work under own initiative
and under pressure.
 My forte is customer service and leadership. I would go
to the Nth degree to achieve the end result for my client

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
Most recently PA to Chief Executive Merle Limited (formally the Morgan Partnership) 1992-2011
I joined The Morgan Partnership as PA to the Chief Executive to provide admin and secretarial support and became his right hand
person. When Morgan went into I was re-employed under the new start up company, merle limited.
My role required a high level of versatility and included:
 Secretarial (typing, faxing, processing calls and messages, setting up meetings, organising travel)
 Office Manager role: ensuring the smooth running of the office and equipment
 Organised all Chief Executive’s personal & confidential correspondence including all expenses direct from his credit card
 Liaise with clients on a daily basis when CEO was at meetings
 Dealing with celebrities/agents, reading contracts, organising photoshoots, models/stylists/make up artists
 Compile reports for client profitability, budgets/billings
 Dispense and reconcile Petty Cash
 Preparing presentations for New Business pitches
 Assisting with Desk Research (e.g. news articles on specific topics of interest)
 Regularly organised major PR events from booking event, artistes, catering and set up on day. This included major
Testimonial Events for major clients to yearly joint Burns Suppers
Reason for leaving: Redundancy (Company went into liquidation)
Previously Office Manager/PA to Senior Partners Honeyman Jack & Robertson 1990-1992
I was approached by a friend to work for her father in his own architect’s practice. I worked for both Senior Owner Partners and also
performed the role of Office Manager. This also included all their banking, payroll and Vat returns.

A new company Sol Holidays was formed and I was headhunted for the role of Admin Manager. During my time there I was
promoted to Customer Relations Manager where my duties included responding to complaints from the public and travelling abroad
to visit all the properties featured in our brochures.
 Initial role of Admin Manager involved the entire running of the office
 Promoted to Customer Relations Manager answering all clients complaints personally
 Visited all overseas properties on a regular basis
Reason for Leaving: Company closed Glasgow office and I was asked to perform Customer Relations Manager role out of
London. Undertook this duty on a temporary basis but declined the offer or a permanent position.
PA to Retail Directors of Barrs Soft Drinks
Initially I was employed as PA to their Retail Director on a temporary maternity contract. When the PA to MrBarr Srand
MrBarr Jrdecided not to return I was offered the role on a permanent basis (as opposed to one of their permanent staff).
 All secretarial duties to the Chairman & MD
Reason for Leaving: Was offered another position within the travel industry
