Ancillary Services Manager - Cheswold Park Hospital
High standard of cleanliness and security within this 96 bed medium secure hospital.
* Responsibilities: Head of maintenance & Housekeeping, managing 20 plus staff in a secure
hospital, carries out infection control audits, logging & compliance, ordering consumables, risk
assessments, COSHH assessments, COSHH training, record keeping, schedules, audits, budgets,
appraisals, supervisions, organising contractors and escorts, staff rotas, all waste -
clinical/hazardous/domestic and recycling, ordering of all white/brown goods, soft furnishings and
flat linen for the hospital, running/maintaining of main laundry.
* Skills needed: Management, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Achievements: Designed and introduced the template for all risk assessments and training for the
hospital, NVQ management/leadership.
