The document discusses how the media product challenges conventions of real magazines by displaying coverlines on both the left and right of pages and placing images on top of other images. It also notes that audience feedback indicated creativity with images and text is important for attracting audiences. The document describes using media technologies for construction, research, planning, and evaluation of the media product.
1. In what ways does your media product use or develop or challenge forms and
conventions of real media products?
Whilst creating my media text I created my media product in the image of “…” magazine.
I particular liked the way the magazine e didn’t really have a set way of displaying text
comparatively other film magazines I looked at such as “…” magazine always had their
text on either the left or the right of the page. I challenged forms of media products by
displaying my coverlines on both the left and the right of the page. Also I placed images
on top of images. I particular liked the way it broke up the text
2. How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?
3. What have you learned from your audience feedback?
Through audience feedback I have learnt that creativity in terms of images and use of
text is particularly important in attracting the audience
4. How did you use media technologies, in the construction and
research, planning and evaluation stages?
