This document summarizes education initiatives in Jordan and Lebanon to provide quality education for refugees. It outlines Madrasati, a program launched in 2008 to renovate 500 public schools across Jordan and 23 in Jerusalem. The program established remedial centers and extracurricular "Masahati" student clubs to support over 15,000 students and train 400 teachers. schools to encourage children to learn and

10. • We established 22 centers in 8 governorates
across the kingdom
• Currently, we have 10 in 5 governorates
• So far, we have:
– Reached to more than 15k students
– Trained around 400 teachers
– Engagement of both Jordanian and Syrian
Parents at the school level

spaces for students to be engaged in hands-on
learning activities.
• It is an after-school program that brings students
to meet and work together twice a week.
• It was launched in January 2016 in 26 schools in
9 governorates.
• Each club accommodates 100 (+/-) students
