Teachers?
Open sharing by students – Survey taken on the eve of Teacher’s Day
A Eye opener for Teachers
29Expectations…
What Do I Expect from My Teacher?
Dear friends I would like Share it with you
Feedback of the children about “What
Do they expect from their teachers. The following
Slides will clearly express the deep desire of every
Child how do they expect their teacher to be?
I personally conducted a survey to know about the feelings
Of today’s young and smart generation about their teachers.
They were very frank in their sharing, it does seeks our
attention to be a better teachers.
I am sure this PowerPoint would be a eye opener for every
teacher, how one should be in the class-room. What do today’s
child expects for his/her teacher?. How the teaching should
be? More than teaching how one should treat the child when
they are in need of your help. As we celebrate TEACHER’S DAY. I
am sure these slides would arouse few questions in our hearts
and minds that would make us to be a better teachers for the
tomorrow’s young generation.
Introduction
• Today’s modern generation think differently, act
smartly, do things greatly. Friends I as a teacher
always love the children to be free to express
their thoughts, ideas and suggestions.
• Today in my class I have asked my students to
write in slip of paper How they expect their
teachers to be?.
• After reading what they have presented I thought
to myself, gone all those olden days, we had a
certain paten of teaching, learning, and be it a
relationship between teacher and student, it had
its own unique nature.
Introduction
• But today we can’t apply the same style of
teaching learning methodology.
• The IQ of the children are very high, the
technology has brought lots of newness in the
filed of teaching and learning, in which
situation they expect something big from
their teachers.
• They expect teacher to be not merely a job
doer rather they expect him/her to be a
person with human touch who makes them
feel that the teacher is for them.
Introduction
• I believe today’s modern technology could teach them
much better than a teacher in a class.
• But still the children believe that a teacher would do all
the differences in teaching learning, fulfilling being the
second parent in the school campus knowing their all
limitations which technology can not do.
• Well dear friends I had curiosity to ask my students of
class IX how do they expect their teachers to be?
• They were very frank in their sharing, I have just
presented what they have given.
• Hope this will be an eye opener for all us as we celebrate
our teacher’s day.
• Read and find where you stand as a teacher?
