2. MISSION STATEMENT
OF THE WORKING
GROUP
• In a long-term care era technology is a
precious companion. This is true if an
appropriate culture is created to maximize its
positive impact, in an integrated care and
value-based perspective.
• INTERHEA, within EPR, should serve as a hub
for tech-based care centres (devoted to
rehabilitation) in EU, to share such a culture and
to collect, amplify and bring their voices to
policy makers’ level.
3. TIME LINE:
• October 2019: During EPR GA the idea was
presented and approved
• First months of 2020: Collection of expressions of
interest between EPR partners and establishment of
the working group
• March 2020 : Launch of the online questionnaire for
the collection of technologies in use, participation in
projects and networks related to rehabilitation
technologies
• October 2020 : Kick off meeting
• November 2020 : Collection of partners’ ideas on
barriers to the development of technology-based
services and solutions and challenges in measuring
outcomes of technology
• 2021: Collection of hints from partners to feed the
INTEREHA SRIA, mutual learning activities and
exchange of best practices. A new member joined
the WG.
4. INTEREHA participates for
EPR in the HealthTech4EU
Alliance
Representing a large community (7 European
Technology Organisations speaking for 4000+
members), HealthTech4EU aims to shape Strategic
Agendas of the EC funded programmes in Health
Technology.
The new born Alliance want to create a unique cross-
technology platform, complementary to cross-sectorial
approach of healthcare industries along the continuum
of care. This provides a single-entry point with a wide
expertise. The Alliance will ensure strategic consultation,
brokerage and cross-tech solutions to be presented as
an offer to meet industry demand.
In this framework, INTEREHA WG will contribute in the
field of Technology Driven Rehabilitation, raising the
voice of the rehabilitation community in Europe.
