MITA Resort S.r.l., the company that manages the Eleganzia brand of Forte Village in Sardinia and Castel
Monastero in Tuscany, was granted the concession to manage “Porto Arsenale La Maddalena” complex for
the next forty years. The management concept of the new structure, will be presented at the 49th Genoa Boat
Show in Stand F4 of the new Marina.
Eleganzia is the first high end Italian hospitality network, holding a significant portion of the market in the
hotel and boat luxury accommodation sector.
Forte Village Resort, with a unique combination of nature, hospitality, tradition and 5-star services, has
been winning the World’s Leading Resort title for eleven years in a row with its 20 restaurants, 8 large hotels
and a collection of incredibly elegant suites, only a few steps from the beach.
In partnership with the Luiss Business School, it promotes the Master in Five Stars Hotel Management, a
unique training program in Italy for its educational outline, placement, exit profiles and location.
Castel Monastero is a small 11th century Tuscan village, with Medieval and Renaissance buildings that have
been entirely transformed into elegant hotel structures and splendid villas immersed in greenery.
Porto Arsenale La Maddalena is the new pearl of the Eleganzia Collection. The redevelopment of the
complex has been managed from the Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri - Delegate Commissioner for the
G8 Event Mr. Guido Bertolaso and signed from different project managers and designs, such as Stefano
Boeri, Studio Napolitano, Antonio Marras etc. The Complex is composed of boat, hotel and residential
services, with all utilities adjacent. The tourist harbour, created in the bay of the former military arsenal, is
today the largest and most modern marina on the coast with over 600 berths (also available for large boats
and Superyachts over 100 meters) complete with services, support, Shipyard and supply centres. The 5-star
hotel, extremely refined in every detail, is composed of four blocks for a total of 100 rooms and suites, and
also houses 65 residences between lofts and apartments. The 3,500 square meter SPA has been developed as
a centre for well-being as well as a medical care centre. The 12,000 square meter shopping centre includes
shops, ship chandlers, offices, boutiques, high end outlets, restaurants, lounges and bars. The 1,700 square
meter Conference Centre, ideal for events, conventions and company meetings, houses gourmet restaurants
and boutiques related to the world of yachting. The entire Complex is enriched with ample green spaces,
pools, sporting facilities, seafront promenades and a swimming area. All this in a “green style” management,
that will provide 5-star services as well as the most innovative technology in line with the modern concept of
a lifestyle that respects the environment. The functional and management project is in the course of
improvement, the Mita Joint Venture with Grandi Lavori Fincosit and Cidonio makes use of the experience

Porto Arsenale La Maddalena will host the Louis Vuitton Cup in May 2010, with its technical, logistic
