WP1 - Best practice

WP1, entitled "Best practice identification in e-
engineering" and led by UNED, is an introductory
WP. The aim is to identify all the best practices
existing to build high-quality e-engineering
trainings. To reach this objective, different sources
are already identified: EU projects on similar topic
(including EOLES), related journals or conferences,
existing trainings...
The main output of this WP is a critical best
practice guide delivered at the end of the first
year, this guide being a support for WP 2, 3 ,4 and
5 with the selection of top good practices to be
promoted in the project. Conclusions of this best
practice analysis will also be presented in an
interactive manner during the different national
dissemination workshops (NDWs) organised the
last year of the project

1.1 Mapping of topics of interest 15/01/2018
The aim of this preliminary task is to identify all the topics of interest requiring a good practice
analysis in the field of e-engineering. Most of the items are already known and concerns all the
human, administrative and human obstacles to overcome before the creation of an e-
engineering training of high quality.
1.2 Identification of guide writers for each theme 15/02/2018
This activity follow the previous activity 1.1. The aim is to identify within the consortium the
persons in charge of doing the good practice analysis (and then write the corresponding part of
the report) for each topic of interest identified in 1.1.
1.3 Writing of an e-engineering good practice guide 15/10/2018
The aim of this task is to produce a good practice guide about e-engineering training following
the previous activities 1.1 and 1.2. The aim is to pick up all the relevant practices concerning
administrative obstacles, assessment, certification practices, quality control, remote laboratory
implementation from different kind of sources. Obviously, according to the own experience of all
the persons identified in activity 1.2, this good practice guide is expected to contain a critical
discussion on all the items identified in activity

1.4 Selection of top-good practices to be promoted in the project 15/10/2018
The aim of this activity is, in parallel, to the writing of the good practice guide (1.3) to identify
the tog good practices the consortium wants to promote in the e-LIVES project and try to
implement during the project (in WP2, 3 and 4).
1.5 Monthly online meeting about progress of WP activities 15/10/2018
Each month, an online meeting will be organized in presence of the WP coordinator in order to
discuss the progress of the WP activities.
1.6 Preparation of best practices analysis for national dissemination
workshops
15/10/2019
Once the good practice guide finalized 18 months after the beginning of the project, the main
outputs of this guide will be converted into teaching, learning and training material for the
national dissemination workshops held in each partner country involved in the project. The aim
is to produce various and rich materials in order to organize fruitful training sessions during the
workshop.

WP1 - Best practice identification in e- engineering Leader UNED (Spain) / co-Leader UVT (Tunisia) WP1, entitled "Best practice identification in e- engineering" and led by UNED, is an introductory WP. The aim is to identify all the best practices existing to build high-quality e-engineering trainings. To reach this objective, different sources are already identified: EU projects on similar topic (including EOLES), related journals or conferences, existing trainings... The main output of this WP is a critical best practice guide delivered at the end of the first year, this guide being a support for WP 2, 3 ,4 and 5 with the selection of top good practices to be promoted in the project. N° Name Due date 1.1 Mapping of topics of interest 15/01/2018 The aim of this preliminary task is to identify all the topics of interest requiring a good practice analysis in the field of e-engineering. Most of the items are already known and concerns all the human, administrative and human obstacles to overcome before the creation of an e- engineering training of high quality. 1.2 Identification of guide writers for each theme 15/02/2018 This activity follow the previous activity 1.1. The aim is to identify within the consortium the persons in charge of doing the good practice analysis (and then write the corresponding part of the report) for each topic of interest identified in 1.1. 1.3 Writing of an e-engineering good practice guide 15/10/2018 The aim of this task is to produce a good practice guide about e-engineering training following the previous activities 1.1 and 1.2. The aim is to pick up all the relevant practices concerning administrative obstacles, assessment, certification practices, quality control, remote laboratory implementation from different kind of sources. N° Name Due date 1.4 Selection of top-good practices to be promoted in the project 15/10/2018 The aim of this activity is, in parallel, to the writing of the good practice guide (1.3) to identify the tog good practices the consortium wants to promote in the e-LIVES project and try to implement during the project (in WP2, 3 and 4). 1.5 Monthly online meeting about progress of WP activities 15/10/2018 Each month, an online meeting will be organized in presence of the WP coordinator in order to discuss the progress of the WP activities. 1.6 Preparation of best practices analysis for national dissemination workshops 15/10/2019 Once the good practice guide finalized 18 months after the beginning of the project, the main outputs of this guide will be converted into teaching, learning and training material for the national dissemination workshops held in each partner country involved in the project. The aim is to produce various and rich materials in order to organize fruitful training sessions during the workshop.
