At Container d.o.o. I am responsible for the following tasks:
- standardization of the work process
- calculation of practical paint needs for projects
- supervision of the working process on the corrosion protection line of the production
- quality control of the product (container) throughout the corrosion protection process (surface
preparation) and final control of the protected surface
- testing of new technologies in the corrosion field
- writing of various documentation (status reports of the projects, work instructions for the workers,
daily inspection log, final inspection report)
- cooperation with the paint suppliers and other subcontractors
Through the years working at Container d.o.o. I gained valuable experience including:
- a vast experience in the field of corrosion protection for containers. The corrosion categories of the
products varies from C2 to C5-M
- worked on numerous on-shore (E-rooms) and off-shore container constructions, bulk carriers,
containers for army purposes, radioactive waste carriers, generator containers. This includes
companies such as ABB, Bluewater, GE Jenbacher; Innofreight, Montan Spedition, Bruhn Spedition
- gained inspection experience working in the production and cooperation with the quality control
department of Container d.o.o.
- thorough knowledge and application skills of the standards (ISO, ASTM, SSPC) in the corrosion field
- knowledge of thermal spraying methods especially flame spraying of zinc wire
- vast experience with high-build paints and corrosion protective paints
