On that day, a Google
mobile algorithm
update influencing the
display of organic
results on mobile
devices will begin to
take effect.
Web sites failing to
perform well on
mobile devices will be
harder to find on
these devices. Some
might effectively
disappear from small
screens entirely.
While Google has acknowledged
that the impact of the 4/21/15
changes will be “significant,” it’s not
yet clear what the impact will be in
every business vertical.
To gauge the possible
effect of Google’s big
mobile algorithm
change on PR firms in
the U.S.A., Didit analyzed
96 sites belonging to PR
agencies appearing on
OdwyerPR.com’s 2015
rankings list of large
agencies.
We found that
of the 96 PR firms (55 in
total) surveyed are fully
“mobile-friendly”
according to Google’s
definition.
57.3%
That leaves
42.7%
of major U.S. PR firms unprepared
for the oncoming algorithm.

So what are these
agencies doing wrong?
We've compiled a list of
the 6 most common
errors.
1. Links spaced too closely together
to be easily clicked on mobile
devices.
2. Content wider than screen.
3. Mobile viewports not being set
correctly.
4. Text being set at a point
size too small to read on mobile
devices.
5. Blocking of resources necessary
for the Googlebot to correctly
parse the resources referenced by
the web page.
6. Incompatible plug-ins.
If your business was listed
