1) A group of students from JUSCO SCHOOL in Jamshedpur, India discovered a nearby primary school that had become non-functional due to lack of funds and resources, with children in the local slum area going without schooling for two years.
2) The students developed a plan to renovate the school that included fundraising, getting support from their own school administration to help with repairs, and providing furniture and educational materials.
3) After implementing their plan, the school was reopened as a pre-primary school and their efforts were recognized by their school management who agreed to permanently adopt and support the school, as well as provide scholarships for top students to continue their education.
