1. Ecommercetech.io is a new company founded by Shana and Derric Haynie to provide an unbiased resource for ecommerce store owners to research, discover, and buy the right technology tools to grow their stores.
2. The problem the company aims to solve is that ecommerce stores lose time and money vetting different technology solutions, while tech providers struggle to find new customers and explain what makes their solution unique.
3. The company's solution is to provide well-organized and digestible comparisons of different tech solutions to help merchants identify the best fit, as well as reliable lead generation for tech providers.
3. 3Page
Tech providers are clearly bias towards their product.
Agencies are bias towards their partners. And
Ecommerce store teams are bias towards “popular”
solutions, oftentimes not knowing what is truly right
for them.
BIASES
Nearly all companies are hesitant to be truly
transparent on things like pricing, when you shouldn’t
buy from them, who their closest competitors are,
and how difficult using the product may be.
TRANSPARENCY
Both sides of the market spend a lot of energy
vetting the other side for “fit.” This is, in part, due to the
inefficiency of tech marketing/sales teams in
explaining their product prior to demo/trial. The other
part is the uniqueness of each merchants needs.
TIME SINK
What worked for one person might not work with
“your” tech stack and team dynamics.
RECOMMENDATIONS AREN’T ENOUGH
THE PROBLEM x2
Ecommerce stores lose time and money vetting
technology solutions, and miss opportunities to jump
on high-value, innovative new techs/trends.
Ecommerce tech providers have a hard time finding
new customers, explaining their “aha moment,” and
showing their USP.

identify which tool is right for them.
COMPARISONS
Eventually we will be able to create a Shopify app to
analyze the merchant’s existing tech stack and
detect gaps in tech and opportunities for
optimization.
STAGE 2: TECHNOLOGY
Everyone hates demos. We do them so that the
merchant doesn’t have to. And we’re damn good at
getting the info all merchants need, quickly.
DEMOS
We can give valuable and completely free advice,
and informational packets to help merchants make
decisions.

EXPLOITS
1. Most tech apps already have partner programs, with generous commissions,
and typically have very helpful heads of partnership.
2. Tech companies aren’t particularly good at showcasing their “aha” moment prior
to demo/trial. See examples (coming soon).
3. Many companies have fears about sharing their pricing, features, gaps in their
features, and talking about their competitors.
4. Merchants will never know each tech app as well as the creators of the tech.
5. Doing 100s of demo’s will make us the most knowledgeable resource in the
ecosystem. And bring ancillary benefits.
6. We will tackle a broad set of low-volume, low-competition keywords centered
around “vs,” “comparison,” and “pricing.”
7. Each tech partner will share their audience with us, we grow off them, they grow
off us. We become the hub for tech partners. A superpartner.
8. We can outreach to Shopify stores, because we are not a partner, but Shopify
partners cannot (although many tend to break this rule).
