2. Introduction
Within this PowerPoint we will be talking about different types and sources of
social media, such as Cyber bullying and how it affects people in their day to
day life.
In this PowerPoint cyber bullying is our main topic and we will talk about
specific victims of cyber bullying such as Amanda Todd who sadly committed
suicide.
9. Conclusion
In our conclusion, I honestly think that social media websites is a little bit of a
death trap for young and innocent people because some of them are not the
correct age to go on Facebook so that therefore leaves them vulnerable for
people to start bullying them over the internet. But another way in which they
could stop this is by trying to get their parents to stop them going on social
media websites, and hopefully from this it could stop many young people from
going into depression.

This link above is a link to a TV show documentary called don’t blame
Facebook, this channel shows some people being stupid on Facebook and how
people react to it but it also shows some people that have been cyber bullied
and sadly left them in depression.

Also within our documentary we will plan to do some interviews so we can see
some people react to a certain video. Such as:
http://youtu.be/ej7afkypUsc
The link above shows a video that Amanda Todd had published a week before
she committed suicide, and within this video it tells us what has happened in
her life to put her into such depression. After they have watched this video we
will hope that they will try and stop cyber bullying as well as us.
Also we are going to be making a short movie which
will be mixed in with the movie and it will show a
story based on amanda todd

One problem we do face to try and stop cyber bullying is that we can not
always stop some young people from going on social media websites such as
Facebook because as much as their parents tell them not to go on Facebook
they will still do it because technology has gone a long way so they can access
Facebook through their smartphones. But there is probably one minor
difference that Facebook could make by increasing the age limit to access
Facebook so it could stop some teenagers from accessing Facebook.
13. Sources for our documentary
Within Facebook many strangers could message young people and sometimes
persuade them to send them a naked picture of themselves to a specific
person. When this person has recieved the picture her could quite easily put it
out there so loads of people can see it. But after he has published this photo
the police could find this person and he could get put on the sex offenders
register for child pornography. So therefore we can see that the police are also
try to stop cyber bullying.

The link above will take you too a police law statement page on child
pornography called the protection of children act 1978, so if a picture is
published on a social media website they will be punished so there is quite a
big threat for the people who publish child pornography.
