My Evaluation
In myevaluationIwill be explainingmyfull creative mediaprocesswithinmytime completingthe
unit,IG2 Music VideoProduction.FirstlyIwill talkaboutthe firsttaskI completedinthisunit.Andin
thistask we had to analyse atotal amountof five musicvideostogive ussome brief ideasthatwe
coulduse whencreatingourmusicvideo.Afterthisstill intask1 we had to complete twopurposes
sheetsabouttwoof our chosenmusicvideosoutof the five.Inmy opinionIthinkIdidwell onthis
task forI completeditbefore the deadlinedate andIalsosuccessfullyfilledinall the boxes
thoroughly,soonthe otherhand I thinkI endedupgivingalotof relevantinformationaboutthe
musicartistetc. AlsoI foundthistaskveryhelpful becauseIgota chance to understandhow music
videosare made bycuttingfadinginand out etc.From thistask I thinkItook some ideasoff of some
of the five musicvideostoimprove mymusicvideoandinthe endI thinkmymusicvideoworked
verywell.SecondlyIamgoingto talk aboutthe secondtask I completedwithinmytime studyingmy
Music VideoProductionunit.WithinmysecondtaskIhad to complete these few things, anIdeas
GenerationMindMap and a Mood Board. I didn’t findthese few taskshardtocomplete foritwas
mainlyjustme puttingall of my ideasontothistask so I can successfullycreate the musicvideoby
lookingbackon these ideas.Ialsocompletedthistaskbefore the deadlinedate,Iwantedto
complete thistaskearly tomake sure I didn’tfall behindonanyworkand bydoingthisit gave me a
bitmore time tocomplete the longertimes.SoinmyopinionImade the right choice bycompleting
thistask early.
ThirdlyIam goingto talk aboutthe thirdtask I completedonmyMusic VideoProductionunit.Inmy
opinionIfoundthistaskthe secondhardestone because Ihad to do somethingIhave neverdone
before.Andthe thingsIhad to complete inthistaskwere aKitBudgetSheetanda worddocument
on the jobrolesand responsibilities.Ifoundthistaskquite hardbecause itwasfairlyconfusingat
firstto me but eventuallyIgotthe hang of itand thenI successfullycompletedthe KitBudget. On
the otherhand I sawthistask as kindof a learningcurve andnow I know how to successfully
complete aKitBudget.Howeverdespite mybitof confusionImanagedtocomplete thistaskontime
so againI thinkI didmake the right choice bycompletingtasktwofairlyearly. FourthlyIamgoingto
talkabout the fourthtask I completedonmyMusicVideoProductionunit.Thistaskwasthe biggest
task onthe unitbecause we hadto complete all of ourPre-Productionpartssuchas a script,
storyboards,equipmentlistetc.Howeverwe hadtoworkin a teamon thisunitso on the otherhand
thisdidraise my teamworkingskills,soIfoundthistaskveryhelpful towardsme aswell as
enjoyable.Despite the goodside of thingsIdidstruggle onsome partsof the Pre-Production
because Ihaven’tdone a lotof Pre-Productioninthe pastdespite myFilmOpeningTitleSequence
Production. Thistasktookthe longestamountof time forthere was a lotof workto be done,we
couldn’tbackdownfrom thisbecause we neededtocomplete thisinordertofilmandeditour
musicvideo.Sowe triedourverybestto get itdone quicklyandthoroughlysowe can getthe
highestgrade possibleandsowe couldgetout and filmoutmusicvideo.FifthlyIamgoingto talk
aboutthe shortesttaskon the unitand inthistask I had tocomplete aphoto diary,in the photo
diaryI had to talkabout whatwe filmedata specificsetgoingoff of the photoswe tookwhile
settingupour camera equipmentetc. IfoundthistaskfairlyeasyforI was justexplainingwhatwe
didat a certainsetand whatcamera equipment we used.
LastlyI am goingto talkabout the last taskI completed onmyMusic VideoProductionunit.Inthis
task I hadto use two differenttypesof software andtheywere AdobePremierandAdobe After
Effects.Inmy opinionwhile Iwasworkingonthis taskI gaineda goodunderstandingonhow each
individualpieceof software worked,thatIworkedon.I foundthistaskveryhelpful because Inow
knowhowto use the software efficientlysoIcan get more workdone and make itintoa good
standardMusic Video.AtfirstIdidfindthe software a bitconfusingforI hadn’tusedthisspecific
software ina while;soonthe otherhand ittook a bitof time toget usedto the software andthenI

typesof software byusingitagain.Therefore inmyopinionthistaskwasfairlydifficultwhenediting
my musicvideo.Alsowithinmytime completingthistaskIhad to write a shortstatementbelow my
rougheditto explainhowIwouldimprove myMusicVideoafterwatchingandreviewingmyfirst
edit.Bydoingthisit made me understandthatI needtodo some colourcorrectioninorderto make
my Music Videolookalotbetter.HoweverwhenIwasmakingmyfootage lookbetteronAfter
Effectsat firstI founditdifficultbecauseIwashavingdifficultieswithcontrollingthe contrastof the
video.Onthe otherhandat the endof thisvideoI managedtocomplete the taskbefore my
deadline sofromthisIcan see that I made nearenoughall the rightchoice’sto getmy unit
completedontime.InmyconclusionIdidfindsome aspectsof thisassignmentfairlydifficult,sothis
on the otherhand wouldhave slowedme downbutinthe endImanagedto getall of my tasks
completedontime soIcan passthe unit.Inall honestyIworkedtothe bestof my abilitytotry and
achieve the bestgrade possibleinthe MusicVideoProductionunit.Alsowithinmytime completing
thisunitI had a fair amountof funwithfilming,editing,producingetc.AndItrulybelieve thishas
raisedmyproductionskillstothe nextlevel.
