• The book notes how in winter, hedgehogs huddle together
to keep warm
• However, they hurt each other with their spines, and then
move away from one another
• As they start to feel cold again, they huddle together
again, and the cycle repeats itself until eventually they find
a ‘happy medium’, a distance apart where they are not
too close to hurt each other with their spines and not too
far apart to feel cold…
