Is the transfer of information between two or more points that are
not connected by an electrical conductor, in other words is a term
used to describe telecommunications in which electromagnetic
waves (rather than some form of wire) carry the signal over part
or all of the communication path.
 Pre-cellular mobile telephony technology were developed in
the 1970s
 Satellite phones were developed
 Part of the public switched to telephone network
 Part of a closed network were used by public services such
as a police radio or taxi dispatch system.
