April 1984 to present: The Boeing Company
May 2015 to present; 777X Fuel System Functionality, Requirements and Electrical Team Lead. Senior
Lead responsible for requirements management, functional integration, electrical design/integration and
flammability reduction system (FRS). Lead a diverse team of individuals to support the sucessful
definition, development and maturity milestones in these areas.
January 2015 to April 2015; 767-KC46 Tanker Team Leader. In this short amount of time developed
and led a diverse team of individuals to resolve a program critical fuel system issues. This includes
leaking and failing parts that are creating a hazard to the aircraft and impact to the program schedule.
Developed an integrated team, defined requirements and schedules. Delegated and led test activities at
the Supplier, Boeing Laboratories and Flight Test.
December 2007 to December 2014; Senior Fuel System Lead Technologist. Define, obtain approval,
develop, project management and integrate multiple fuel system research projects. Projects focus on
electromagnetic effects, ignition source and flammability reduction. Performed as Principle Investigator

2. (PI) and Technical Lead for many Boeing Engineers supporting these projects and up to 26 different
Supplier/Partners (domestic and international). Defined and resolved proprietary information agreements
and export statements. Coordinated and integrated within the fuel system community and multiple
customers. Submitted five patents for EME related solutions for fuel system design. Two are approved
and three are pending.
December 2002 to December 2007; Fuel System Lead Engineer. SFAR88, Pump Inlet Protection and
Pump Redesign. Fuel system specialist supporting other programs with regard to requirements
development, architecture design and validation. These included New Airplane Product Development
(NAPD) / Product Line Studies (PLS), X-45, Russian Regional Jet (RRJ), and Supersonic Business Jet
(SSBJ). EXPO participant and graduate.
November 2001 to December 2002; 737 Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) Propulsion
IPT Leader. Lead and integrate a team of up to 40 individuals charging part time to 9 heads of budget.
These individuals support eight different propulsion functional areas. Activities includes design
modifications to the engine build-up, strut and nacelle as well as all related propulsion certification
effort for the engine and APU. This support was provided as a Boeing Commercial division to Space
and Communications for a foreign (Australia) customer.
April 1996 to November 2001; Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Fuel System IPT Leader. This includes total
responsibility for the design, analysis, procurement, integration, installation and validation for the two
X-32 concept demonstrator aircraft (CDA) as well as development of the Preferred Weapon System
Concept (PWSC) fuel systems for the Air Force, Navy, Marines and Royal Navy. This results in the
architecture of five different fuel systems. The current phase of the fuel system development is a multi-
million dollar effort. Currently leading a multi-company IPT. This includes Boeing direct, supplier on-
site and supporting functional team members. The total team has included over 50 individuals from
Boeing and nine different suppliers. Managing contractual and state department issues regarding foreign
suppliers. Support and consult for the Fire Protection IPT. Fuel and fire protection expert supporting
other Boeing programs as a consultant.
April 1994 to April 1996; Multiple activities during a downturn in aerospace. Individual and team
contributor. B-2 surge pressure testing, write, execute, conduct, report and develop corrective system for
surge pressure issues. Develop system approach for Air Vehicle Conceptual Design (AVCD) for Fuel
and Fire Protection systems. Wrote proposals for military Fuel and Fire Protection systems, including
conceptual design architecture. These were part of the winning JSF concept demonstrator program.
April 1991 to April 1994; F-22, Advanced Tactical Fighter, Fire Protection Engineer. Design and
analysis for fire protection, prevention, detection and suppression systems. Development and
procurement of fire protection systems that include optical detectors, thermal detectors, extinguishers
and electronic control logic. Write statements of work, detailed procurement specifications and evaluate
proposals. Responsible for the verification and validation program.
April 1984 April 1991; B-2, Stealth Bomber, Fuel System Lead Engineer. Lead engineer responsible for
a 40+ million dollar fuel system test program. Responsible for the work activities of 10 individuals
including engineers, drafters and technical aides. Responsible for design, fabrication, buildup,
configuration control, test and reporting. Conduct fuel system analysis, write reports and interface with
the Government customer.
June 1979 to April 1984: Well's Hydroelectric Project, Douglas County PUD, Azwell, WA. Student
Trainee during college summer, winter and spring vacations. Maintenance program evaluation and
scheduling. Inspection of fire and safety equipment. Inventory of pant equipment.
