Strain Engineering in Graphene Through Friction Control September 2014-Present
• Established different processes for both macroscopic and microscopic hydrophobic substrate patterning
• Processes: substrate preparation, piranha cleaning, UV degradation, and mechanical exfoliation
• Goal: measure strain-induced pseudomagnetic fields in graphene
