Energy and environmental infrastructure leader Daniel Tobin serves as senior director and supervisory investment officer in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Origination Unit in Washington, DC. In this capacity he leads varied multidisciplinary teams to facilitate the underwriting of complex renewable energy projects in the U.S. To date, he has evaluated more than 400 of these energy infrastructure projects since 2008. Daniel Tobin is also involved with the U.S. Energy Initiatives Task Force. As lead project finance board member, he evaluates the financial strength and experience of prospective project developers and determines their ability to complete complex energy infrastructure project
