1. Dana Ford
Dana Ford is a senior at Florida State double-majoring in Political
Science and Criminology. Dana has mentored through the Mentors
Opening Doors and Enriching Lives (MODEL) program and has
also volunteered as an advocate for abused and neglected children
through Guardian Ad Litem. Dana traveled to Jamaica and Costa
Rica for the Beyond Borders cultural exchange where he tutored 35
elementary students in English, Math and Science.
Following graduation, Dana plans to become a Teach for America
Corps member as well as an attorney and a judge. Serving others
gives him the opportunity to help others reach their destinies and
goals in life. He said that his past experiences have empowered him to
help others in need and that God has blessed him with these abilities.
Because of this he owes it to others to help them realize their maximum
potential. “I live my life providing motivation, encouragement and
purpose to those who are impacted by my service”
