I am an enthusiastic and hardworking Sheffield Hallam first year Human Biology student demonstrating good
performance in both academic studies and practical laboratory skills, looking for a one-year placement in
industry. I am keen to use analytical and research skills, including experience of HPLC, in a leading scientific
research company.

Interests and Achievements
Water Polo
 Competed for GB Water Polo until the age of 19 when the team folded due to European competition being
cancelled because of coronavirus
 Currently represent City of Sheffield Senior team in Division 5 British Water Polo League
 Captained my Regional (East) team to victory in the 2018 interregional competition.
 Social secretary of SHU Water Polo, organised weekly nights out and a couple of events (Christmas)
Swimming
 Swam competitively at Regional level for Deben Swimming club until 2013
Football
 Captain of Woodbridge town football club from 2007-2013, I have always been outspoken and
commanding in a sporting environment and this reflects my day to day life. I like trying to inspire
people to be the best they can be
