- Web address for specific URLs without spaces. Search when you know the topic but don ’ t have a specific website in mind.
- Advertisements can get in the way. Skip over these results. Scroll down to find the first result with its link highlighted blue and underlined. Below the link there is usually a “ snippet ” of text from the site. Last, the web address, or URL, is indicated in green.
- Start small and add words to your search as you go. Punctuation doesn ’ t matter. So, leave it out. Use descriptive words to find exactly what you want. Not “ ringtones ” but “ celebrity ringtones ” Capital letters don ’ t make a difference in search results.
