2. Process
• To begin with production
I recorded the audio I
needed to record in
Adobe Audition. I used
this software because I
found it the easiest to
work with. I found I had
to restart the recording a
few times as I would
keep being disturbed by
loud noises from outside
the recording room.
4. Process
• Then, to clean up the
audio I used adaptive
noise reduction. This
effect adapts to the
audio recorded in
order to remove
background noise. It
helped to clean up the
static noise in the
background of the
audio, making the
listening experience
more enjoyable.
5. Process
• To create the intro
theme for my
product, I created it
using the website
Beepbox. This
allowed me to easily
compose music. I
used an 8-bit theme
which fit my
product, as it had a
topic of gaming.
6. Process
• Then, To finish the
intro I used a text to
speech generator to
create a robotic
voice saying the
name of my
podcast. I exported
this and edited it in
Audition to slow it
down a small bit and
make it fit the music
I composed.
7. Process
• Finally, I placed all of
the audio tracks into a
multitrack session. I
then added
background music
from the game I talked
about in the podcast,
turning the volume
down substantially so
it wouldn’t distract
from the actual
content.
