The European Space Agency is offering funding up to €60,000 for companies to develop innovative space-enabled services to tackle environmental crimes. Environmental crime is the fourth largest criminal enterprise and threatens sustainability. The ESA is interested in services addressing illegal land and water pollution, wildlife poaching, and natural resource crimes like logging and fishing. Qualifying proposals will demonstrate business expertise, attractive market opportunities, commercially viable concepts, and solutions enabled by space technology.
